@Wayne
this is crazy...
what you want to get rid off, is what I let blow under my table currently

probably almost the same temperature streaming from an old Siemens P4/3Ghz that houses my Scope cards
(it was dead cheap, takes full size cards and is top quality)
got only one fan for PSU and CPU combined and emits it's load not to the back, but to the side.
as the central heating automatically regulates itself down at night, this is a great convenience.
(my room facing north east, great old building but not much insulated)
cheers, Tom

I'll say! Good chance up that way to have some red dust blown a long way during cyclone season.
More of that..

that's a mess.
there's no stopping those forces. does apologizing help? do you turn off the airconditioning? does masking tape do anything? do shovels get expensive?
is that deforestation?
so many questions, so much awesome. i'll bet you can do without it. i'll bet i could do without it.
you can't really get out of the way of that.

Nothing that bad on the south eastern side of continent. Just a record breaking hot day or two but nothing that the solar powered air conditioners can't take care of. The mrs and I did cancel a couple of our evening walks though, and the kangaroo flats 40k out east took a beating in the few bush fires.

No no, this is up the road in
Onslow, almost 1400km north of here. Same state though
People up there are used to battening down the hatches for cyclones - one passes the coast as we speak, not expected to cross the coast.
That's beautiful desert-meets-sea country Gary, iron rich dirt it is too...

There was some iron dirt flying around here too in November
This small tornado hit a steel plant in Taranto (a plant already inquired for pollution issues)

Water is a precious resource, too valuable to waste on houses, so they found it was more cost effective (and cheaper than firebreaking burnoffs) to remove the houses from the fires and put em back later.
