Well, I finally went for the "up to the trend" option and chose a P4PE : everything went fine for the installation, ecept that it didn't want to boot from my previous C:/ (i think it is because of the CUSL-2c drivers), so I had to do a fresh XP Install.

Also, the mobo didn't want to go until booting sequence because it found an "hardware error" : after a few stress, I found that I had to disable the "Fan Power" feature (control of PSU fan), because I don't have a PSU with controllable fan (it is controllable, but by the PSU itself, not the mobo). I just had to read the error message to find this (check power management, and a line was "red", which seems to show an error, so i put it to "ignore" and all went fine afterwards.

A part from this, the P4PE is fine : you cannot upgrade it to a S-ATA version, because controllers are simply cut from the board, well, it means i can't use SATA (but as I see with USB, only USBN 2 is viable, annd the P4PE provides 6 plugs (2 on a pci slot).

It also comes with a sound interface by SoundMax, and I was surprised to discover that the SoundMax is made by... Analog Devices, makers of the Scope sharcs....

Apparently, Scope install went fine and everything seemed to work well.

Istill have to install sequencers etc... but the card seems very good... for the moment

Well, see you later then, i'll report after a few weeks of test.
