No chance to play live in Texas ? There is an amazing scene in Austin, at least . . .

And Creamware cards have suited me fine. If you think how much it would cost to buy a couple (or even one !) good outboard synth then getting a 15dsp scope card really doesn't start sounding that bad . . . I wish I'd saved up the money for it in the first place ! I have two 3card boards, which are great, but then I'm not using too many synth stuff (mainly samples)

Good luck choosing . . . there are a lot of different ways of doing things in this Biz !

hi Lightspeed, I think its my duty to warn you! This stuff is DANGEROUS very addictive, Two years ago I was in the same situation as you, played in several bands
(guitar) did some studiowork(analog), but also newcomer to pro audio, so I bought my first CW card Pulsar II . now I own 4 CW cards en many plug-ins, but I still want more and more. Man this shit sounds GREAT!!! and is great fun to work with..(I hardly touch my guitars anymore).

Thanks for the welcome folks. And while it is true that there are some good live happenings in texas, it is also true that places like Austin and such are a good 4 or 5 hour drive from me and I just don't have the gasoline to travel to where the action is at the moment.
Are part-time band leaders semi-conductors?

welcome lightspeed. the people in here are extremely helpful and the cards are extremely powerful, even now after about 18 months i am still learning new things about my pulsar 2 and it's abilites, with the help of kensugero i just started using the modular system and am realizing it's power,

the card just gives you a lot of options so take your time and enjoy. no other single card has helped my music and skills develope as this one.
