Unfortunately don't have possibility try this device(Rotor48)But i think that something really nice.May you put some examples how it sounds?

I admit I'm curious because the sound of the track is very interesting to my ears...

If the maker doesn't explain, we may all be forced to propose deals...

slow envelope foollower or playing technique, phaser of some sort, delay, maybe a pitch shifter with feedback..

well it is now "tomorrow" so tell us allready!

Sounds like these are not that mysterious. Start with an E-bow and throw in what you like, compression (always a good idea with 'bowed' sounds) delays, filtering, flanging, controlled feedback loops, and yes try it with a slide, etc usw.
