Thanks a lot for your help guys, I got a much better understanding of what’s going on now, some great explanations, and can feel confident with my choices for setting up the bass guitar directly into the Xite.

@gary, my comment about “I don’t give a shit” was quite flippant, as I do like to have a full understanding of things, but found when hunting around for explanations on the subject it was full of overly technical babble without answering questions along with contradictions, so was sort of getting sick about that info as it’s like “yes I get it, but please, is no one able to talk about things in human terms”, plus it doesn’t help that the bass guitar tech specs doesn’t actually clearly mention what it’s outputting!
