I'm using the 32 bit version (it's on an old computer), I didn't know you had to be in XTC mode to use Dll's.
IS there a guide on how to do this?
I just want to control scope devices in my daw , I don't care how I do it ;-)

just use midi. it's not hard. Scope synths are external hardware, as far as the sequencer is concerned.
the dlls can only be used in

yes, you can use XTC mode, but that's actually more limiting. XTC mode was made by Creamware in v3 and then abandoned. it's been left in the program for those who like to use it. there is a lot of XTC info here on PlanetZ, but a lot of the basic info is compiled on Scoperise:
http://www.hitfoundry.com/issue_04/cub_xtc.htm

here's the main XTC post with the most help:
http://forums.planetz.com/viewtopic.php ... s+xtc+mode

as to the difficulties of the Scope routing window, it's really incredibly simple if you understand hardware connections. the Scope connections work in exactly the same way, since Scope is true virtual reality. it's really quite crippling to think about Scope as a computer program. treat it like external hardware. the ASIO i/o in Scope are the audio jacks for the sequencer, which can be treated like a stand alone hardware device(hardware items have jacks to connect wires to). sequencer midi i/o are the midi jacks for the sequencer(or other windows program). just follow the path of the signal.

to control something in Scope, make sure that midi is connected to the device. on the knob, switch or fader that you want to control, right click. when the midi assignment window opens, move the controller's knob or fader, press the "+" button and it's done.

Well I finally got it sorted, I had a faulty Midi cable I replaced it and everything now works.
I can finally test the scope synths....so far I Love them
I can create all those harsh polymod screeching fx that I used to create when I owned a Prophet 5. ;-)
