Doesn't mean religion is the inherit cause of these troubles, otherwise any believer would be a terrorist.
It's more complicated...
Agreed. Religion in this case is just the vehicle that evil chooses. Take away the relogious vehicle and evil will find another idiological one.

I read that there going to be deployed 10000 soldiers in Paris. Why? Isn't there police in France ?

a very sad event for those who were hit...
but consider dimensions: Paris is a city of 12 million inhabitants
probability per day would be 1:1,000,000 if this happened every day
(a strike by lightning is more probable, let alone the usual risks of civilisation life)
it's the (social) media hype that makes those people...

cheers, Tom

I'd like to build a world a home
and furnish it with love.
Grow apple trees and honey bees
and snow white turtle doves.

I'd like to teach the world to sing
in perfect harmony.
I'd like to hold it in my arms,
and keep it company

I'd like to see the world for once
all standing hand in hand.
And hear them echo through the hills
for peace throughout the land.

It's the real thing
what the world wants today,
That's the way it'll stay
with the real thing.

I'd like to teach the world to sing
in perfect harmony.
A song of peace that echoes on
and never goes away.

Put your hand in my hand
let's begin today,
With your hand in my hand
help me find a way.

I'd like to see the world for once
all standing hand in hand.
And hear them echo through the hills
for peace throughout the land.

I'd like to teach the world to sing,
in perfect harmony.
A song of peace that echos on,
and never goes away.

True, but they don't have weapons.
A symbolic gesture that didn't help the Police when they really needed a gun.
