Maith an fear!
So, you should have no hard page faults with no page file in latency Mon.
You should have HD audio not sharing IRQ with xite.
And all bios changes set out by gary marked as disabled, not auto.
And once the FireWire disconnected, you should see no ohci entries in dpc latencies.
How do you connect to the internet? WiFi? Try disabling that too.
If you play a sustained note with the on screen keyboard, are there pops? Just minimax, on screen keyboard, and audio out to xite analog outs..

ShogunSpy wrote:Gary its when I play synths live from Abelton to scope no audio being played. If I adjust cutoff I will get a pop/break up in audio as well if I play a track that I hve made in Abelton with its instruments I get the sae break up in audio.
I have disabled c states and quite and cool see photos of bios above, theirs not much info for AMD..maybe that's a clue that AMD is shit
I made all the changes in http://www.hitfoundry.com/issue_11/tsg_mast.htm http://www.hitfoundry.com/issue_17/pc_setup.htm
I only have an Abelton Push controller a usb mouse/ps2 keybored and a firewire glyph drive connected I have a ssd with page file off
the problem is probably not the computer.
you may be overdriving the signal when the filter is opened, although i would expect sequencer playback to be ok in that case.
it may be related to the midi stream from ableton. this isn't likely, but maybe there is a feedback loop between Scope and the controller.
it may be a sync issue. you say Scope is slave. exactly how is Scope slave?
how are your speakers connected to the XITE? what connectors and cables exactly?
the scariest thought is that there might be more than one problem. that's why i think it's good to focus on one aspect. first, you should be able to assign a cc from the controller to the Minimax control without a click. before that, does the minimax play click-free in every preset otherwise? in other words, without modulation, just played from the controller?
i might think it was a computer problem is it was only ableton playback that crackled. but when a Scope synth crackles all by itself, there is a different problem, most likely between the XITE and the air in froint of the speaker.

Re: pops and clicks xite -1d windows 7 64bit
Oh, back to your daw setup... Are you bringing audio from scope into Live, then back out? Doesn't sound like you use xtc. But maybe it's a multiprocessor issue...I had some issues running xtc with live, and having multiprocessors in ableton enabled. This created an issue where a track in live is placed on a 2nd processor, while ableton (and scope asio drive) was running on the first processor. Sometimes I would get blue screens.
So, as an experiment, try going into live and disabling multiprocessors for a moment. That forces the audio driver and ableton to be on the same core, and cut out a lot of overhead. It's just an experiment to isolate a possible issue.
I thought SATA might be the issue since your page faults were not only high, but taking a LONG time to resolve. It looks like that issue might be gone now? I don't see high page faults or Irq to process times in your latest stats.

And as Gary says, set scope to serve master clock - although I don't know where you would be slaving clock from...
Is scope your only audio card?

Re: pops and clicks xite -1d windows 7 64bit
Thats cool man. Need 5 PCI slots tho?
Gary will be used to spec'ing out components for xite..
Still am quite sure your problem is solvable! Might be a bad bit of hardware, but his has the hallmarks of a software issue.
Can I ask, you have any other sound cards? Ones with a USB interface.. Do they have the same problem, pops and clicks?

When I'll get an Xite-1 (D) hopefully later this year, I'll connect it to a Mac Mini via the Thunderbolt to Expresscard Adapter from Sonnett (running Windows with Bootcamp).ShogunSpy wrote: I am also contemplating a new pc with http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D65 ... PDKIKX0DER

Might be an option for you, too? Don't know if this will work properly, though, but I hope so!

Anyway, hope you'll get it all sorted soon! Good luck!
