Easier solution:
Depression - single malt whisky
Boredom - single malt whisky
Happy - single malt whisky
Any other mood - single malt whisky.

BTW - nearly had a top I.T job in Heidleberg once - can't remember much about the company but it was to do with germs, but not WMD.
