Scope 5.1 64bit and Protools 11HD problems

I'm sure glad I don't have to mix so many apps under the same hood.
My rig is simple.
Instead of VEP and an external Slave for samples, I just use a dual Master / Slave configuration on the same machine with Reapers Portable Install.

My VSL/Kontakt/PLAY samples stream fine as the Template is constant, only the MIDI routing and MIDI Tracks are changed via MIDI Prgm Chng messages>Project Tabs.

I know lots of guys prefer big sequencers with lots of Bells and Whistles. But everytime I use another DAW just to see how it sounds/feels, I quickly return to my Slave/Master 50 dollar host.

I hope I never have to use Windows 8 with LAN and a large host. Pretty doubtful since I avoid iLok, new OS revisions, and large fancy DAWs.
Just the meat & potatoes for me.

If I was playing live, I'd go Win8 just for the fast boot time.
