2012?
I don't remember exactly, but... not that good.
Plenty of lonely time for sure. Lot of time spent like staring at stagnant, marsh waters.

I'd probably been jamming with some MySQL code lines for a while in early spring.
In early summer started again some guitar studying and playing, after long times.
In mid summer got an S/S/S American Standard Strat.

Neither was he, for that matter...

It was a good year for me all telling, don't yet have the distance of history to tell me the full story yet.

Significantly, it was the first year I started to use Scope, mere months of my getting a Noah EX towards the end of the previous year. Grown to love them, hidden gems, warts and all, brilliant!

Well, I refered to the "synthman´s dream" you mentioned above.

Me, personally, I´d use it for keys only, but imagine DLM8 65Hz@-10dB isn´t enough low end for synth bass or organ bass work.
That´s why I´d prefer the 12" full range model.

You´re right for PA usage, but I´d also buy subs only for THAT.

Yep,- but all these hi-end active speakers are insanely high priced here,- QSC, EV, Yammi, RCF and now Mackie.
Everything 2-way offering ~1000W RMS classD bi-amping costs between 800 and 1.000.- EUR here,- a single piece.
The Mackies are in that range,- 2000W is peak,- the are 500+500RMS too.
dawman wrote: I paid cash up front and got the pair of 8s for 1225 USD.
Wow,- that´s EUR 940.- only.
So, is all about distributors, shipping, taxes and customs,- insane !

I like the on axis alignment of woofer and compression driver which makes the cab compact and works like my Tannoy studio monitors do,- so there´s no other comparable system.
Maybe they become cheaper by the time.

The year 2012 .
For us it was a really good year.
It was after Christmas though ,
that we found out what was missing in our mastering setup.
That info was given to us by JFk Superstar,
and it was very easy , but for many hard to understand.
That was the DC filter that unblocked the Feedback Amp,
to be totally in Scope.
For the mastering we then putted in two more bx.
Scope is the only application in the world,
that can do Linear Negative Feedback Amp ,
inside its mixers.
Therefore we hope plugins would be made also for that.
