i have yet to max out my dsp on my 27 or 36 dsp systems
you are more likely to run out of stdm connections or audio connections limitation of motherboard and ram
than dsp power

if you're using lots of modular or other synths.
if you're using only audio processing, you can probably easily use all the dsp.

Hello !
Sorry for the delay to answer, but I had no time for music those days...
This is my IRQ settings:
This is some messages I got from Scope :
and

You can see there my problem with the channels numbers that disappear
and my new scope routing:
I don't set polyphony to the synth until I use them, but I can't load more than 4 voices for each.
I understand that is not link at all with PCI bandwith, but add to that problem, with a blank project, I can't load more than 7 masterverbs, and I hope that if I could understand why, I could add more effects to my channels.

remove the buggy meterbridges. the stm already has meters.
what happens then?
a global optimisation will probably make the DSP memory error go away. you may need to run it a couple of times. the stm connection error is the result of too many devices straddling both cards.
dsp load is affected by many things. not only do you need enough dsp power itself, but for bigger devices that require multiple dsps or for high accuracy processes that require all resources to be on one dsp, the arrangment of devices on a dsp are important. to oversimplify, if say, for a synth that takes two dsps for one voice, like a minimax, if you run several voices and there are other devices using dsps, the dsps that are avialable to run that synth may be very physically far apart, too far apart for proper sync between them all. the latency between one end of a card and the other might be too much for proper operation of the synth. this will limit your ability to load to 100%. a global optimisation means that the system will reshuffle the order that things get loaded onto the dsps, making it possible to load further, maybe.
dsp loading is static once loaded. dsps aren't like cpus in that they can pay attention to many different things. once a dsp is set to a job, that's it, until you reload. this is the reason why dsps can do realtime work.
you may be able to add another s/tdm cable, depending on whether or not your card allows that. that may help with not having enough s/tdm connections.
just fyi-ProTools H|D doesn't allow reshuffling of loads. it is rare to use 100% of dsp resources on those systems, but there is also no chance to redo the load if you run short of resources before you run short of dsps. this is just how it is.
your IRQ assignments are less than optimnal, but that doesn't seem to be your problem, and i'm guessing that your motherboard makes it impossible to do much about that anyway.

Ok for the meterbridge.
I've reinstalled everything to see the difference (and because the 4.0 cohabitation with 5.0).
No better result with irqs, but I didn't understood that the dsp thing could be solved by forcing dsp till it works until the real limit.
So I can now load 11 masterverbs , but with difficulties at the 6th one.
Since reinstalling the OS, Vectron loads without crashing
