I, like many others here (you know who you are G, J, v, the other G etc etc) work for a living. And through the perpetual extortion, of our wages, we DO pay...for illegals to go to the ER, and our own health insurance...however questionable it may be...I have had zero issues with mine. I race in CCS on a superbike in the summertime...I have been stitched, stapled, cast, pinned, screwed...no pun intended there, pay my deductible, monthly nut...and everything is just fine.

Recently, I discovered I now have Barretts Esophagus...no biggie...some antacids, a little change in lifestyle...get a tube down my throat, once a year....$500...bfd. Just keep an eye on it so things don't go south on me.

I pay for my healthcare, and my healthcare, so far...knock on wood...is just fine. My jobs plan sucks...so we use my wife's, (she is an OT in a Brain Injury Unit...just stop now......no.....that's not how we met ) and so far...the plan is sufficient in my eyes...meaning, what I get, vs what I pay for. Don't get me started on where my tax dollars go...I think you guys know where I stand on that one...

Get out of flatland, black and white, us and them. They're all paid off by the insurance companies to push these programs through to the benefit of the share-holders and NOT you, and definitely WITHOUT any of us voting for it.

I know many doctors who are against this plan because it will only INCREASE their risk, cost overhead, and quality of practice. My sister is a nurse already working 12-hour days just to keep up with all the paperwork.

I am currently 'proactively unemployed' after being laid off from my 'normal' job back in March, decided to go into 'fuck off' mode and go back into contracting - where I usually make more money anyways. I found my own plan and pay A LOT for it, but at least it pays for 'alternative' care and other goodies that my previous plan didn't cover, and I DON'T have to pay for crap that isn't deemed MANDATORY by any governmental, corporo-fascistic entity that doesn't have a clue about health factors.

Meanwhile 4 more emergency rooms in local hospitals have basically SHUT DOWN due to too many people trying to get care for free (including a lot of illegals), while the insurance/government overhead costs increase.

It's a failed system, and this new 'mandatory' plan will NOT fix it.

But this is serious business for small business people such as myself.
I must refrain from these debates am I lack the tolerance needed to remain objective.

and so how will they fix that? by MAKING people pay for coverage that they can't afford already. people who can't afford a single extra dollar for coverage, still can't, even if it's mandatory. DEMOCRATS only serve stockholders too! this current plan means BIG money for drug companies, who will now be able to make their products MANDATORY.

i don't give a damn if the old way is bad, this "new" way is just as bad or worse. it's no solution. they are NOT trying to help those with not enough money or coverage. as i said, it's simple if you want to do that, just give them the services. no, they're just getting more CONTROL over citizen's lives. the Democrats are participating in a dictatorial system, but since everyone's socialized to think of the Dems are the "for the People" guys, everyone is assuming that their bills are just happiness. SOME democrats are the good guys, SOME Republicans are honest, good guys too. MOST of BOTH are crooks, cheats, liars and thieves.

since $0 of income tax paid to the IRS goes to the operations of the Federal Government(read the Constitution! it's ILLEGAL for that money to be used, the Federal Government is only allowed to collect fees and tarriffs on interstate and international trade), it's an absolute lie to say that our "tax money" will fund ANY of this. it is a FACT, 100% of the federal income tax goes to the privately owned federal reserve(collected by a non-governmental body called the IRS), for repayment on the INTEREST on money LOANED to the federal government by the central bank. we actually get NOTHING for our tax money and the biggest social programs AND the huge military action are funded with BORROWED money. what happens when you can no longer make the interest payments to the bank? recievership.....

the FACT is, people are SO ignorant as to how their government actually works, that they will believe almost any fol-de-rol that is spewed by an "official source"(the TV), even if it's an obvious, flat-out lie.

An independence that was bankrolled by the British monarchy & other royal families oddly enough, eh? And we've had a 'national debt' ever since. All those taxes and it just never seems to get any smaller, close to 11 Trillion $ now...

actually, the "national debt" has been zeroed every time the central bank was eliminated. the current debt is the interest owed on trilllions of dollars borrowed from the Federal Reserve. instead of Congress lawfully printing money for no other cost than paper and ink, the USA has chosen to have a private institution be in charge of printing money. the Federal Reserve Bank(which is NOT a government agency), has been given the right, illegally, to print money based on nothing and then lend it to the country at interest. it is a mindboggling swindle and FACTUAL. as i said, Americans have so little idea how the money works and how their government functions that they think it's normal.

an excellent reference on the subject is a book called "The Creature From Jekyll Island" by G. Edward Griffin. Jekyll Island is the place where in 1910 several key participants met and planned this new central bank. ALL of the financial disasters of the 20th century have been orchestrated by the Fed and it's affilliates/owners such as the Rothschild banks and Chase/Rockefellor.


back on topic, hospitals drastically overcharge for services, since they're "for profit" not "for people"(this has nothing to do with salaries, i'm talking well above and beyond mere profitability). insurance only allows further abuse. i have family in the hospital business. my brother, being head of nursing in a major metropolitan hospital knows first hand how hospital administration enourages "upselling " of services over correct services...

All true Gary & receivership is a word that the American people & in fact, people all over the world (when I say 'world', think 'IMF'), should be becoming very familiar with by now. What astounds me is that what's going on is allowed to continue, when everything points to eventual collapse on a massive scale. The bankers want to see the collapse though, because when there's an economic collapse the bankers make BIG money & this time round there's a lot more at stake than just the money they'll make.

Frankly, I've got serious doubts as to whether anyone can stop what's been put in motion, which is the destruction of capitalism. In the US you've got members of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors moving from that position to being Chairman of the President's Council of Economic Advisers. If that isn't an epic conflict of interests & insight into the corruption within the US Government, then I really don't know what is. No idea how long he'll be in that particular position, but with someone like Bernanke controlling the Federal Reserve you've got a recipe for the collapse of the US economy. In fact, there's no doubt in my mind, that no matter who is 'in charge' of the Federal Reserve, you've got a recipe for the collapse of the US economy because that's what the Fed will do for the US - break it, bring it to it's knees, mold it into it's slave. It's inevitable unless there's a US revolution & even then, it's worth noting that most revolutions in history have been unsuccessful.

collapse is golden for the Central Bank because when collapse occurs, the market can be bought for nothing, ala the Rothschilds buying the London Exchange during the panic after Waterloo and the Rothschilds and Federal Reserve doing the same after the panic that led to the Great Depression in the '30s.

And the current round of consolidations that have been underway for a decade now.

You know another interesting thing, there are 2 presidents who decided to have their administrations print money without the central bankers: Lincoln & Kennedy. In Kennedy's case of course it was printing it without it being 'loaned' to us via the Fed. I don't think of either of them as being 'pure', but it's interesting considering their demise--especially since both are considered to have been killed by 'lone gunmen'...

interestingly enough, Andrew Jackson the man who told the central bank that he dissolved, "You are a den of vipers, I intend to rout you out, and by the Eternal God I will rout you out! If the people only understood the rank injustice of our money and banking system there would be a revolution before morning." had an attempt on his life as well. a Mr. Richard Lawrence, attempted to assasinate Jackson and Jackson told the VP that the bank wanted him dead. Lawrence is supposed to have told friends that wealthy people in Europe had promised he would go free if caught...by printing our own money and restricting banks, Jackson's administration paid off the national debt completely in 1835.

in 1832 Jackson vetoed the renewing of the charter of the national bank with these words:
"It is not our own citizens only who are to receive the bounty of our government. More than 8 millions of the stock of this bank are held by foreigners ... is there no danger to our liberty and independence in a bank that in its nature has so little to bind it to our country? Controlling our currency, receiving our public moneys, and holding thousands of our citizens in dependence would be more formidable and dangerous than a military power of the enemy."

What's funny is the bill Senator Ron Paul has put together that you don't hear about. They want to see the the paperwork and have an oversight commitee, but the Dems voted it down becuase Bernacke says it will devalue the Dollar or some arrogant remark like that.

I remember George Bush was stupid enough to honestly answer a reporters question last September publilcly....when asked why he wanted to bail out the Banks he replied the people who know what's best for the economy advised me to move quickly and create the international TARP funds....Well jeez, that went to the banks in Europe first, then the USA.

Back to Health Care............
I get my pills for 5 bucks a bottle which is cheap, and I just started taking high blood pressure pills for the first time ever.
My blood pressure has dropped to 136 from 146 in 2 weeks but I swear I feel as if I am taking Viagra or something. I"m getting woodies from the minute I rolled my racks into the Pool area last night and the babes are definately worthy, especially the stock/resort chickies, but the pills have to have something else in them. I feel as if I am doing speed as in Trucker speed like the old white crosses.
I have been medically fine for over 30 years. Never went to a doctor just used my Dental insurance. The first trip though and they have me taking so many pills I had to get a little miniature tool box. It looks like a tackle box for lures for fly fishing, etc.
Since I walk around with a woody all of the time I ain't going to complain, but it's sure funny how I was fine for all of these years and now I have seen the eye doctors, which made me buy glasses, the Podiatrist who made me buy shoes custom built, and blood pressure/cholesteral pills, and my Dentist even wants to replace my perfectly fine partial.
I think I liked it better when I bought an 8 ball from the beaners every payday to fight off modern diseases and packed my beak like a mad man.
Anyways God Bless America right or wrong, with or w/o health care...I have played synths all night long to dancing bikini'd babes, took a dip after work in the Skin Pool, watched 2 cat fights, and couldn't tell how many gunshots were fired due to the fireworks, so life only sucks when I ain't giggin. It's the best medicine I know of when I get paid to do this.
Maybe that;s the idea, make me walk around with a woody all night and keep asking for more pills, damn shame I came home to my fat lovely buddy Carlos instead of some babE though.
Looking at him dewoodified me for the rest of the night....
