Read international news and you'll see what kind of rascals we are able to give power to....you are amateurs in comparison....

Yeah but at least your Parliament is smart enough to hire retired Porn Stars.........
You ever see the story about Charlie Wilson ????
That's the kind of Politician I like.
He chased fine women, packed his beak, helped the Taliban chase the Soviets out of SW Asia, and then left the country in shambles................perfectly American.
They are all cheats and crooks, I just prefer the ones that enjoy the finer things in life and aren't afraid to hide it...............The " Do Gooders " w/ family values like John Edwards should be chased around the Capital naked while being flogged by Evangelists and Skinheads....

The current laws made by the actual right wing majority is forcing "family values" and shameful freedom starvation for the people civil rights, under the dictate of the money recycling industry and worst dictatorship still existent and pedo aiding and abetting organization called Vatican State. Obviously only valid for us, not for the political caste.
What I'm thinking of them allows no reverb impulse to sweeten it, no matter if bricasti or lexicon or X-verb.

They should exist....didn't the ancient Sonic Foundry have such stuff for Sound Forge convolution? Maybe not the Vatican....too expensive...

Mehdi you should just break down and get a hardware reverb.
You can use it live and in the studio. I recently added the Lexicon PCM70 to my analog I/O's on Scope and was shocked at the warmth and quality. But on the DSP cards the 70 as well as the hardware mono tape delays, etc. sounded squashed. The I/O's on the XITE-1 are obviously much better as I don't use the A16's anymore and plug directly into the unit.
Since we can't get reverb plug developments on the XITE-1 yet I just broke down and grabbed a PCM70 for 400 USD on ebay.
I just love the addiction for plug ins these days, they have brought down the prices of the old " outdated " hardware.
I also have been using the 480L at the studio and as soon as they come down to 3000 USD I am grabbing one.
I could never afford one before, and actually still can't, but after hearing one and using it recently I can barely tolerate any plug in now.
And I agree 100% the Lexicon plugs cannot hold water. Warp69's LX480 is actually better than the Lexi plugs.
One things certain though, SpaceF, Wolf, Celmo and Modular IV delays can outdo the hardware units.
But reverbs............................Those Dogs Won't Hunt.

Buy 1 Bricasti ? when i don't use less than 10 in cubase groups ?
well, people will have to buy awful lots of spacef-modular-mixers before i can do this
but i am in, for such a treat
Most of my friends with PCM resold the hardware when they got the lexicon plugin, after A/Bing it and concluding that "the plug is the same as the hardware" ...I don't really agree that it is the same, the plug is not bad, it's better than many other stuff, but i don't think it is worth its selling price (but well, if people are ok to buy it...) . The plug is on par with the Reverence reverb of C5 (reverence has a finer and smoother grain, which can be better or not, depends on the situation ) but it is far from a bricasti, even on IR, it works on everything

.
the M7 hardware unit must be to die for...
I'm using the IRs in NI Reflektor as an Aux (ie, with sends )

The Bricasti M7 is the ultimate reverb for realism if thats the goal.
Like very small spaces, i.e.= a bathtub or tiled closet, etc.
Early Reflections are pretty amazing. But these aren't really musical. Even now most Orchestral recordings are done with the Orchestra setting up in the middle of a Hall to avoid the ER's.
The verbs I like are the ones that basically operate like a delay w/o the noticable repeats.
What's odd is that the PCM91, which I used live for a few years, doesn't come close to the 70, 224 or 480L's depth. Still beats the confined sound of the plug ins, but the older units are the ones I love on real instrument recordings or samples.

David Griesinger created the Lex 200, PCM60, 224, PCM70, 224X(L) and the 480L.
Michael Carnes did the 960L, PCM90/91 and the new PCM96 (does contain something from Barry Blesser)
Barry Blesser did the PCM80/81
You clearly prefer the work done by David Griesinger
There's even differences between hardware and software based convolution.

Thanks for adding knowledge to my ears.
And congradulations on the LX480.
Hopefully S|C will take advantage of the RAM/DSP and develope this area.
If not, I will probably just go with the 480L when the prices comes down to 3 large.
I was able to blend 3 ER's and a nice Room algo for a great Concert Stage sound on a virtual Piano. I love that reverb. Funny how every FOH I know has 2 x 480L's on their manifest.
Bob Dylan just played here recently and the FOH had the TC5000 and a 480L and the sound was magnificient...

Don't worry, that will happen soon enough after the next release of LX480

Anyone tried the LX480 yet? Don't have an ilok so no demo for me. I would love to hear some demo music with this plug.
