So...no news from Musikmesse?
Re: So...no news from Musikmesse?
What thread are you reading?
The one I was directed to had this to say:
"There's nothing official regarding the release date of the XITE, but.................."
Is there another thread somewhere that you are getting info from, or are you getting PM's to this effect?

The thread I linked you to -

They have some work to do next week - some small improvements - but otherwise they're ready for a release.
Re: So...no news from Musikmesse?
Sorry didn't read all the pages. What strange place for such an important announcement to be buried.
Of, course, it is not an announcement, I guess, but something whispered at a trade show.
What a strange company.

They are just putting the finishing touches on it.

that's for certainnprime wrote: What a strange company.

But maybe we can forgive them their strangeness for the great products they make.
Re: So...no news from Musikmesse?
i think i might be stranger than S/C. they aren't a burger company you know....
Re: So...no news from Musikmesse?
what i understood is that they prefer to annouce it themselves this time.
they want to avoid unofficial news about releases as long as it is not released.
the word "soon" is to be banished from the music instrument industry,
as decided by Musikmess consortium of developpers of complicated technologies.....
It has to be replaced by "today" or by "since yesterday" as voted unanimously by a panel of users and developpers

Re: So...no news from Musikmesse?
but it is still not very nice that noone from the public days reported any news/infos....
Re: So...no news from Musikmesse?

I hope to see some more info today, too, as I was not able to go to frankfurt...

Re: So...no news from Musikmesse?
couldnt agree more.. why dont they just try to copy to some extend what other companies do??
take UA.. i mean, they had a video where they demonstrated the whole thing... they had a countdown bar..
Give us a "xite journal" with updates month for month... and dotn have a weird homepage, weird intro screen.. and "Plugin of the month" that is there fore... well alot more than a month!!
I really hope they hire som PR people "soon"
well... i am sure xite will rock.. ( and i love my creamware cards to death! wouldn work without them!) but it seems to be up to us to be doing the advertising..

Re: So...no news from Musikmesse?
guys, it's only a few people at S/C.
instead of making you all squishy and warm, they've finished the task. as soon as the last details are complete, they will make an announcement.
fwiw-Holger and Jurgen have done what UAD couldn't. even Analog Devices was impressed....
