I think that's what Voidar did because of the use of the word "Done", unless i misunderstood.
I'll more then likely send a email aswell with additional questions i have.

well, if the source is a windows playback device, i'm not surprised, i think it's always been like that. do you mean that an app like samplitude doesn't output 24bit into Scope via a 24bit wave source? this is likely not a big deal for most people, but it wouldn't be optimal, for sure. i know that the 24bit wave destination module is 24bit, my software confirms this.

Yup,

Having REAPER output through 24bit Wave Source results in truncation

Got an email by S|C now which confirms it.

"Dear Vidar XXXXXXXX,

htanks, it seems you are right, bette use ASIO for 24 bit.
We will work on that in coming versions."

Yes, it seems recording in 24bit is possible. I can confirm that.

Maybe not a big deal for most users, but if you would like something like ASIO4ALL to aggregate hardware into a bigger system you are pretty much restricted.
