As if I would come up with something like that.

why should I trust you on that matter? we're in the off-topic forum, so anything can happen
-greetings, markus-
ps. it's
your furniture anyway. I for one (provided the old ranking system was re-enabled) still have to go miles from being a pathetic guru to overlord...

Recall that the highest rank was 2000 posts firebreathing levitating .....

And only a few members could reach this number of posts after a couple of years.
Nowadays there are 18 in that post range for the 'overlords'......
IMHO this points to waynes remark:
It is NOT posts that count.
It is the content, the help, the spirit.
There is no metric that measures that, but individual appreciation in the forum.
But Markus point was the fun of having ranks with creative names like many other boards.
hey lets not take ranks and posts too serious
The quality of Z is in the helpful spirit, the community, self moderation and variety, not in the bragging, patronizing and showboating.
Yes, my thoughts exactly...
IOW, I'm not that interested in adding rankings, but if there's an overwhelming demand for them, we can do it. So far, the poll response is not exactly overwhelming

that's what I started the poll for: to see if there is public demand for it or not. as I said, I will accept the vote of the majority.
so far there is at least no negative vote, thus I'll give that another 2 weeks, and if it will remain a wish of a minority, I'll resign
