If they work under 4.0, they should work under 4.5 too. Is this based on your own tests with nothing else changed? To my best of knowledge, there are no functional differences between the 4.0 and the 4.5 host softwares.

It's all ok, a couple of years ago Stephen said that we can download and use his old devices
What a good guy!!!
I really love his works.
ps. I really can't run old devices under 4.5, but in 4.0 all is ok, any confirm about that? It seems that something in DSP is changed from 4.0 to 4.5...

They will record and let you play, but a few would darken my screen when I removed them to try others. But they were really old looking synths, and were quite tiny as far as GUI's go.
But the ones that work, sound really nice and quite different form other synths. It's their unique sound that I have grown to admire. Gemini WT is so sick.

wavelength wrote:Hi guys,
Nice to see there are still some people interested in using my stuff. It's fine to post the old devices, I'll have to look at what I have here and make sure they are available to you guys. Sorry I have been MIA a bit around here lately, just started a new day-job at an arts college + finishing my next album... and there wasn't any interest in my stuff for quite some time, so it got less attention from me. I'll see what I can do to post my old stuff - unless you all want to share around what you have already. I know all the old freeware devices of mine are floating around out there somewhere...
Cheers,
Stephen

ps: btw, stardust, YOU linked to that thread. I somehow assumed you've read it

Well there will definately be a chain of Hummels in my next venture. FreakMod, SparC, Thrust, and OP-8 just are so unique and different from other developers it will be a great addition.
These synths were designed like old analogs in the way that they are all mono out.
I have experimented and found that Jah Servants 4M8S is perfect for these synths. I use it to split the mono signal into 2 seperate signals where you can have your choice of delay time for fattening things up a little, or widening the sound.

When these signals get sent to mono channels of a mixer and are hard panned in oppisite directions, different mono effects can be stacked up in a V82 mixer. The load inserts presets, along with all of the Hummel synths can all share a single preset list made specifically to control all aspects on a single MIDI channel and pushing a single preset button on a controller. This is unique only to our platform as far as I know.
That's one of the most beautiful features about Scope's routings, and possibilities.
