I have hard wired the settings for the Modes, rate, percentage, smoothness, and Frequency. So I am good to go.
I have it inserted in many areas where chorus effects ( yawn, yawn.) were used.
On my slow attack crescendo pads it is stunning. It shifts around so beautifully.
I was running my Rhodes w/ SpaceF's Wax-S and Celmo's Pro Vintage Delay and Auto-Pan from CW. Those effects were used sparsely. The only permanent effect was the PCM91's splash of reverb. I just don't like chorus on the Rhodes as it adds coloring to the sound. It sounds awesome just w/ the reverb only.
But FluLiq is a non coloring effect if that makes any sense

, and just makes the Rhodes shift it's image around so well that I don't even need the Auto Pan. It's perfect.
On the Prowave or the Melotron and ARP String pads it moves them around like a phaser w/o coloring them. So when I do add the SSB Modulator to the String Ensemble Pads it would make Dennis DeYoung from Styx envious, as he made the sparkly ARP String / Phaser sound famous in the '80's. He's a fellow Oberheim finatic also.
Styx comes here every year and plays the House Of Blues and I hang a little and shoot the shit w/ the ancient Old Bastards. They'll be here in a few weeks. They're gonna love the sound of the samples w/ FluLiq.
TIP: Enjoy this marvelous effect now and hadwire the modulation choices to some knobs. MCCY wasn't expecting this puppy to become a Dog.
Familiarise yourself with this image shifter as it will soon be Leader Of The Dingo's. THIS DOG WILL HUNT!!
