Brotha Huub, I didn't know you are such a philosopher! That will be The Quote of The Year, should you give me your permission to use it ;)

It also looks like people are losing the capability to understand the concept of concepts.
They seem to have no idea what means 'general scope discussion'.
They get just triggered by the word 'general' and hop there they go, as if general (scope) fits everything.
There comes a time someone seriously will ask 'who's general Scope?'.

Must be the new school principle of 'you don't have to know anything, if you just know where to find it'...
And indeed, they know where to find the requested school scripts and papers...on the internet.
Copy/paste is the ultimate tool, haha.
Yes but it is obvious his English is not good which means it will be basic and come across as impolite when he tries to express himself so.

It's obvious what he's asking for and it's not like he's being malicious.

To be fair Hubird you're bit of an idiot yourself and feel you have to comment on everything.

This is a forum and is for learning after all isn't it?

You're right, and I feel sorry about that.
I actually don't like it to play that role, even if you may think so :-)
I was glad Stardust expressed his view on posting behaviour so clear, I couldn't have said it better.
I hooked on, as life is about timing :-)

I must say In this case I guess I was triggered to be so sharp in particular by the way the initial subject and post was presenting the question (no offend now, just making myself clear).
It also came after a lot of other wild posting in the general scope forum (and elsewhere), which added to the irritation.
(Yet I edited already soon one of my posts with a ironical smilie 'show' when
the poster got it right).

Two remarks tho:

- Personally I always check out a forum how it's set up and supposed to function befor jumping on the train.
Yet a newbe can go wrong of course, probably he's even in a stress when he puts a problem on planetz.

- A lot of the recent wild posting isn't really done by 'newbees'...

thanks for your comment on me, I like that more than if people just think it :-)

You know what Hubird, you're a gentleman.Only a true man can take criticism.
You come across as quite an intelligent person and I believe your frustration is due to things becoming dis-organised,where busy people like myself, need them to be organised too.
To digress I would say that this is the sign of the times where everyone is taught to have their say(democratic view) but aren't allowed to be told how to do it,because it comes across as not P.C,especially if they're foreign.

Please don't stop your comments by the way and I apologise if I came across harsh but have always been niggled by people being intimidated because of their weaknesses.

Beat the tough guy and your my hero!

Thanks for your kind words :-)

I know I often may give the impression as if I want to dominate what's going on.
Yet it's absolutely not my intention, at least not for it's own sake.
cheers :-)
