I hate to go OT here, but,.....

I gotta jump in and say, I dont believe in man mad global warming. This is a dangerous lie.

If anyone does truly believe in this myth, then ask yourself, is recylcing paper the way to save the world.
The answer is obvoiusly No.

What dya mean 'what am I talking about'
We are told everyday by government...Recycle your paper, it'll save the world.
That must be right, I mean the government wouldnt lie, would they?

Of course they would, its their job. It just so happens that this lie is one of the more dangerous and evil ones.

But recycling paper is good. erm... it will save us all. it will, it will [/cross fingers in hope]

I say this is silly. If ya really want to save the worls using paper, then the only way to do so is to waste it.

Paper is made from trees. These trees are grown in huge tree farms. the more new paper that is needed by the world the more trees these farms must grow.
Now heres the kicker, what do trees do..... yup, thats right, they turn CO2 into oxygen.
so logically it makes sense to waste paper, thus ensuring that the tree farms get bigger, and grow more young trees. (also: young growing trees use more CO2 that old established ones)

Why are we constantly lied to about this subject. This is dangerous.

thank you

hemp would be better than trees for fiber pulp, but that's another subject. wantonly killing even farm trees seems so wrong to me...it's like mass slaughter of cattle, disrespectful and brutal. i'm not against using wood or eating beef, but it's not necessary to be pigs either....just mho.

really though Olive, this is an interesting project, thanks!

About win xp install on the CF 2.0 Go

Seems that the installer has understood it was a small Disk ... i was really surprised to see, when i came to uninstall games, and not necessary soft , that it didn't istall them ... no games, no outlook express, only few important things like lan, ie, calculator (!!!) ,

the full instal is 754 Mo with mobo drivers ... very nice feature indeed ...

cheers

so don't worry Olive, I'm with you on the subject.
Like Gary said, no one can argue that it's good to be wasteful :-)

On a side note: I said: But you said already you agree with me.
sorry for the confusion, but the post with that sentense came immediately after Tau's one, so 'you' is Tau :-)

if you buy a 2000 watt psu and your computer is using 170watts, guess what. your computer uses the same 170 watts it would use with a 350 watt psu.

I recycle my CPU electricity. used once for computing and then again to heat my house. :D
