Any Threaded Links ?

Thanks Brotha' Man Stardust, My Brotha' From Another Motha'.

I wish to read what my fellow Pulsarians think about it, rather than SC's low level approach. I really hate that PDF order form.

I am really anxious for SC to make some waves.

Peace,

Dear Ed!
The 2 new devices for SCOPE are doing EXACTLY what the Modus knob does in VST: making available all modes. It´s just that you load 3 different devices (=modes) instead of switching through them with the knob. That is because of GUI reasons in SCOPE... that´s all.
--> The new SCOPE still is the ONLY bx version we have with inserts, so this is still something special that no VST or TDM has (yet).
Upgrading to the new SCOPE will give you all possiblilities that VST has, for sure.
Cheers, Dirk.

Thank you dirk for your comprehensive answer. Your plugin is very professionnal and is also a great tool when it comes to creativity... Both sound and GUI are just amazing to me ! This new version will be very appreciated for sure... I really think that, in a DSP world, this kind of device becomes just a beautiful piece of hardware for recording and mixing... thanks !

received the key yesterday... thank you Ralf !

I am discovering the huge possibilities of the M/S for mastering. Just incredible... you can "reach" elements (vocals, instru...) and adjust EQs on things unreachable without the M/S technic... I will soon try recording with this M/S techno (accoustic guitars mainly and also ethnic instru) . I just wait for my DAV preamp (excellent for accoustic recordings...) :) .

Thanks !

hi

does the old bx device is the same?
i mean not the 2 new one devices "missing modes" but the old i have me too.
because reading the SonicCore page there is this phrase about
the old device "An update for the M/S mastering mode also improves the featured MONO MAKER"
please anyone can check if they are the same? Thanks
if they are not the same i'd like to ask Dirk why the improvments for the old device are not for free because this is what he has wrote in one of the post
here in planetz
so at the end something isn't clear at all

hi
i know the thread thanks,
but the update seem for the 2 new missing function
which is change with 2 complementary devices and for this point is ok!
what i mean and i want to know if the update regard the old bx device too, and trying to explain,
if the monomaker function in the old is improve or if
in the old bx device there was some problems in the monomaker part :-?

"An update for the M/S mastering mode also improves the featured MONO MAKER"
the M/S mastering is the first one bx device i have bought.

Hi everybody!
The "old" version of the bx was the "M/S Mastering Mode" only, and YES, we have changed the MONO-MAKER in this new update.
ONLY SONICCORE can give you the new OXE files, and I would not mind at all if they give the M/S MASTERING mode to you guys for FREE if you bought the "old" version only. We at BRAINWORX do not have a way to do the CREAMWARE / SONICCORE copy protection, so please contact Ralf Bach.
Of course, if you need the 2 new modes (M/S Recording & L/R Mode) you need to buy the upgrade.
Cheers, Dirk

hi
thanks, ok now is clear
i hope someone decide to give the new m/s mastering for free
due to the fact isn't a serious update but is more like a fix
i don't need the other 2 modes right now

Like I said: we WILL accept this update to be given to you for FREE, but SONICCORE has to do it...
Cheers, Dirk.

I got the update, having paid the original full price, which I felt was a great investment and now the update has made it even more of a monster tool. I can't believe what I can do with even commercial mixes poorly mastered. Thanks Dirk for a great tool! Very musical device and someday I'll A/B the VST version to see the difference, bet the scope has more transparency and headroom....

Yes, this device is a big monster :D ...

As an information, i just stress the fact that bx offers several modes (and M/S recording, mastering..) but you have to load the specific device for that in the rooting window. I mean, whereas the vst version can shift from one mode to another thanks to the knob, within scope you must firstly decice which BX device (in fact 3 modes) you want to load as the knob does not "work" (the plugin section offers 3 bx devices available). There is no problem at all with that of course and i just suppose it is for DSP reasons so that's just perfect. So do not be amazed with this tiny difference.... Just enjoy ! :D
