I use a regular mouse and I installed another Graphic Card for change. My problem occurs 20-30 minutes into my music making in Cubase or Nuendo in MIDI. Everything starts to slow down gradually. Its interesting that I do not have this problem in my other comp that I use for doing everything with the same MoBo using SB Audigy and with no tweaks at all ( I use only Nuendo or Cubase, LESS Gigastudio3). I'm guessing, there is probably something that most likely needs to be tweaked. Or, maybe I need to adjust something with the MIDI Port Enabler? I'm using Windows XP SP1 the Nuendo 3 in combination with the Gigastudio 3 and the Scope obviously. Many thanks for all your help and advice in resolving this problem.

if it all starts slowing down, that indicates that a backround process has started(usually). is there an updater or antivirus open? is there an active internet connection while doing music? is there a virus running?
turn off hyperthreading in the bios(first page). i do this as a matter of course with p4s. the loss of performance is minimal.

I need to know how I can use my Generated Downloads (.oxe files). I tried to put them into the SFP folder and they are listed in the routing window options on top, but when I click to select anything, there is no reaction or in some cases with other devices it asks me for the registration codes or similar. I registered all 3 cards to my name since i bought them used (in excellent condition). I do not understand what seems to be the issue since all the cards are officially mine, why I cannot use all the functions and stuff that the previous owner used. Many thanks for all the help in advance.

if yu have generated download .oxe files, you can put them into a special folder (called install imho) somewhere within your scope folders. they will be recognized and installed at next sfp startup. since the generated files contain the needed key (that makes them different from the nokeys_oxe files you can download from the CW ftp) you won't have to type them in afterwards. you have, of course, to have the card that the oxe file is bound to pluggin in and recognized by the sfp software.
putting nokeys_oxe files into the abovementioned folder also works, but you have to import the keyfile containing the license string when prompted. manually typing in the activation code is also possible. it's a subset of the license string found in the allkeys.skf/scope.rgy. I can check where it usually starts and ends, if that's of interest for somebody (well, everybody having activated plugins in the registry window and a keyfile could check that
)
