You should find ALL the informations you need on this forum...
Of course,(and this happens with pro tools, uad, RME too !) it is very important to get the right gear when it comes to comptibility.. I have been a creamware fan for years with a very stable system (this is my seconf PC, now a 100% intel based computer). But of course before each purchase i am used to ask creamware what are the official recomandations and i have ben using this forum to be sure... I have never been desapointed !

Avarage sound card, BAD(!!!!!)-->REALLY BAD SUPPORT!
you can even enter 'ralf creamware registration' in Google an it will direct you here, though when I (just) tried it the french forum outperformed planetZ ...
anyway, there should be a backup of the previous installation, the keyfile is (as mentioned numerous times) Scope.rgy in the scope/app/bin folder of the old copy
cheers, Tom

it doesnt make fking sense. i wanna die!!! omg!~!!
i dont even own one yet and I am 100% sure I will be pumping out some phat stuff in 2 weeks when i get mine. I've done my research, I made sure I knew this card inside out before I decided to purchase it
. I think thats where you went wrong.
Read these forums inside out and you will know more than enough to be competent in operating the scope platform, or for that fact to get it to work , the Creamware guys will sort you out ,just have to be patient

i have gigabyte ds3 and i also have dq6 which i use at the moment.
i guess that ds4 is quite similar to ds3 but it only has 2 pci slots ionstead of the 3 of ds3.
these gigabyte mobos are really nice with creamware cards.
after following the advice of the older here you should be carefull in the following:
disable any unecessaary staf from bios.
i have disabled serial and com1 ports.
also set priority to peg. which is the pci express card for graphics.
leave the other as it is optimized by defaults.
after clean install install motherboard and pci express card drivers.
disable usbs(especially the ones that share with pci slots. i advice you to just keep only the usbs that have irq 23. you will see two usbs having irq23. the one actually is usb2.
also disable any other unused controllers.
do not install xtc. make scope the main audio engine and studio centre.
after you have installed the scopes you can save your time and nerves by making always sure that you use midi filters.
load them in routing window of scope and it will save you from freezes bacause of possible bad midi sends of your midi controller.
.........i told the last because it is a common braking nerves issue for new users.
