Some years ago, i learned (right or wrong) that using firewood for household, was a bad thing - lot of CO2.
But Norway is trees and stones, so nowadays we're told it don't do any harm to the enviroment, because the trees would have to decay sooner or later anyway.

That could be understood as; all is almost ok!
So now i drive my car with good conscience :-)
(acctually only 6000 km so far this year - but at least without remorse)

today B Clinton is coming to holland - hardly after 'I used to be the next president' has left us - to speak about climat changes.
Don't hope Bush will ever follow this path... :-D

that's theater and you're dreaming.
bill clinton calls george sr. "dad".(clinton is an orphan)
they are all three(bill, gb and gwb) members of the same club where they get naked and drunk and so a ceremony with a mock human sacrifice to a 45ft(15meter) tall owl...

these guys are all close buddies, family even.

all these calls for action are bogus, even if the climate is warming, just an excuse to control, but never helping. what is the proposed solution that everyone's in love with? a global tax. who collects, by what authority and who keeps the money? sounds like mafia to me. it's called "protection racket". how does a tax lower the temperature? just plant trees. problem solved.

I know that, just like Baker is :-)
still it's better than nothing, at least our president, present amongst C.'s audience, can wave the problems less easier away again.
Maybe I'm still dreaming ;-)

I heard on tellie it's 3 degree warmer now than longterm-normal, in north-western Europe.
one degree due to global upwarming
one degree due to a warmer than normal gulfstream
one degree due to continuing airstreams from south europe...

dunno what factors actually can be called 'occasionally' yet...

don't forget the warming from the sun being warmer than it has been for 8000 years and the fact that after the current 11 year sunspot cycle, the sun didn't stop but contiues to be more active than ever......

You had something to hide
Should have hidden it, shouldn't you
Now you're not satisfied
With what you're being put through

....

It's too late to change events
It's time to face the consequence
For delivering the proof
In the policy of truth

....

Now you're standing there tongue tied
You'd better learn your lesson well
Hide what you have to hide
And tell what you have to tell

But indeed it is quite impossible to get to galactic center for the sun.
In order to change her cyclic orbit she would have to collide or run into an exploding star to get another direction...
Is there some central big glatic orbit or something ? I know nothing on these things :P

And yes mayans also saw this comming, it was explained to me as some glactic centre thinggie. And our sun alligning to it.....

It all suposed to start with a big bang, so why not end it that way too!
...by the way, what about before the big bang - wasn't time invented?
Think I go for a beer! :-?

IMO, the Big Bang is a continuous event, with the universe constantly expanding outwards away from it and (therefore) ultimately accelerating back into it (space/time really is THAT bent). That helps explain why the level of universal background radiation is more-or-less constant everywhere and also why the farhest astronomical objects are actually accellerating 'away' from us.

With that galactic conundrum neatly resolved, have a limeric!

There once ws a planet called Earth
Which, ever since its galactic birth
Had got hot then got cold
Now my story's been told
Please judge for yourself what it's worth
