There are lots of nice stops on the Eastern seaboard. Edgar Cayce Museum in Virginia Beach, D.C., etc. Hope you have time to enjoy the scenery as it is very pretty, Indian summer as they say.
Hey Ken! I moved from Salt Lake City Utah to Orlando Florida & back again. That's almost 3000 miles each way. The drive in a large truck was a pain in the ass but interesting as well. You see parts of the country you wouldn't think of. I did that in three days but that was just unsafe. Good luck on your new adventure!
It's a lot of stress to drive around NYC because people cut in front of you inches away and many motorcycles go between the lanes and weave around the cars. It is more common to see them drive this way than normal driving. Sometimes I want to yell at them but this would be pointless. I just went down the Belt Parkway
a couple days ago.
I really enjoyed the driving in NY - somehow you all get by...
Where in NJ are you going, Ken? I spent a few nights in North Bergen at a Howard Johnson (tuba players have cheap hotel chains now? )
- it's close to NYC but a little industrial for my taste.
