Technically, Finland is not part of Scandinavia. We like to say so though

hm, did you read the interview? these guys run Lordi already since 1992 or something.
He even does his dayly shoppings in that suit, if he had some spare mony anyway, as no-one wanted them over the years...
Hear me, defending the winner of the Eurovision songfestival
Still I concider a gimmic something else

question was if it is a producer trick to use rubber masks or it is normal in finish scene
Yeah, every finn has those homegrown.

Seriously, it's clearly mr Lordi's own idea. They even make those masks themselves (at least they used to)! The band is, say, 10 years old and they have had those masks as long as they've existed.
And before eurovision, the band was known to nobody.

Well, they won "best domestic heavy metal album of year" in 2003 with their debut album. But, believe it or not, heavy metal is still not mainstream here

Finally, the band was asked to enter ESC... So Lordi is not definately a thing made to win ESC

... and so in the end funny makeup and rubber masks became a producer's gimmick (or his/her hook how to mess up and win that sh*tty contest)...
sorry I even missed Lordi, but this year I found the 'contest' so boring that I switched off

cheers, tom
ps: not exactly my favourite style, but your band has improved much, Spoimala

Hmm, which band are you talking about? I've had many band these years.

With Airut, we were just 1,5 weeks in a studio recording our first full length album. Full length, that becomes something like 35 minutes :/
But not a 2-3 song demo or promo anymore!

Edit: Ooh, almost forgot to say, that I was happy to use MINIMAX, proTone and Vinco during the recording sessions!
Well, they can be heard something like 10 seconds, but.. that's a lot, I've been much more into sfp routing and effects so far.
