i like the idea of buying individual amp/cabs. i'd like to see a bass amp/cab as i have a Podxt for my guitar stuff, but can't justify getting a Bass Podxt - buying a bass sim for my SCOPE would be ideal.

Looking forward to the Recto model. But I am not sure it was wise of Creamware to model it in the spongy/tube-rectified setting. If it's supposed to be a hard rock/metal monster as they say.

Does anyone know if Softube’s digital feedback emulation is included in Dynatube? The demo clip at http://www.softube.se demonstrating the feedback was quite impressive. Credible feedback would definitely give Dynatube an edge over the other amp sims out there.

I think that this plug in can be a very good idea. First,if you compare it with Guitar Rig (vst) the creamware plug in is cheaper and, that's very important, is run by the dsp of our soundcards so we can imagine that it is better... I am just waiting for the demos to fihure out the sound we van get...

imho already the non-specific modelled feedback in the Paython Pro (Zarg) was pretty convincing. Either with a real instrument on the external input or on 'fake' synth guitars.

And since NI's version clearly looses soundwise against Celmo's amp simulations I'd buy the Dynatube blindly

well, for now i can speak only about the price...

the ideal product to compare with is NI guitar combo, which offer i think 4 amp model (more or less the same as CW) and cost 180 euro. so the price may seem OK, but it is also to consider that dynatube runs only on proprietary hardware... so i feel that a slighly cheaper price would be even more OK!

BTW, what is Vinco DT and is it supposed to be an external FX???

i am also curious to know if you can switch between amp model without having to load different devices and, if you can choose between different speaker simulations inside each plugin. or there exist a unique correlation between amp model and cab?

I am pretty sure you can mix and match amps and cabs like you want, as the .pdf I read said.
Imagine running two amps in parallell - with scope arcitechure it will become a breeze.

If I am to speculate, the Vinco DT is an emulation of some sort of tube-based compressor.

in the german pdf, creamware says it's a Compressor made for easy use with guitar signals. i think it's kinda light version of vinco and maybe optimized for guitars...

Yeah, Dynatube and another great plugin as an upgradepackage to SFP 5.0 for 98 euro..

these sound great, perfect timing too as i was just thinking about buying a pod for this type of thing.

I dont play the guitar either but think they will be great for putting synths and percussion through. I am curious about the vinco dt too, more info on this would be great.

ok, it's time now...
i was one of the beta tester of an early dynatube version (it was pretty different from what it looks nowadays).
i tested the jcm and the fender emulation, and i can assure you that these things ABSOLUTELY ROCKS!
i also own a behringer vamp pro but i assure you that, with these 2 models, there are no paragons to be made....
dynatube simply DESTROY the behringer in term of cleaness, dynamic and crystallinity of the sound.
by the way, i simply put the guitar in the pulsar line in...

you will be also amazed by the "microphone distance" knob, which will shape the sound as you really like it.

but the thing about dynatube that left me speachless was that, like the minimax and the b2003, when i play creamware devices over commercial records, the sound seems to be "already mixed", it is OK out of the box... it fits perfectly in the mix and it doesnt appear "distant", "in your face", "fake" or other... it simply suits perfectly in between a commercial record made perhaps in billion dollars studio... it is this sensation that make me state that CW devices are on the top!!

I haven't bought any new devices for my studio for some time now, but one or two of these are definitely on my wish list. I hope that CW makes demos available, to be able to try them all out before deciding where my £££s are going.
