Garyb uses PIV as well, but he doesn't have this problem....I suspect more of a software problem of the windows sound manager is some systems...if some systems don't show this bug it's not something under the total control of CWA.

Maybe an in deep study on 2 similar systems, one with the "bug" and one without could reveal something, some particular conflicting system driver or whatsoever...it's not an easy task.

I can understand that. But SFX have a fix I'm sure CW could fix it to.

So are the standard Wave Source a 16bit WDM drive?
