Hey oxygenial, big discovery:
I just made a project with no mixer. You can make it more minimal than I did, but I just have a synth going straight into Asio2 dest, Asio2 source goes into Scope Analog source for monitoring. Sequencer midi source only. Five modules.
I've been doing overdub tracks in Sonar with it, using the monitor button. It makes me slap my forehead. I think I'll try one with the optimaster and run the track through it.

Yep, I only needed to use 4 modules to do an effect, no mixer, no midi. I didn't use the monitoring button in Sonar this time, put effect's outputs to the asio2 and to the analog outs to listen.
I like doing it this way, it has always been a little hard on my head to have a mixer on my hardware instrument, another in CW and another in Sonar.

Thanks for your detailed info, I'll try to do exactly what you describe.

The clicks only shows up when I'm using ASIO! In otherword, never when I've tried something else from playing music, or even playing games (except that some samples are played at twice the speed, happens under Battlefield 1942 for that matter)

Are you using SP1 and other Critical Patches?
Are the network interfaces disabled?

I'll try to create a project without the mixer in it an see what result I'll get as well.

The thing is that the routing that I have now, worked in Pre SFP 3.1, but started to click about at the same time as the 1632 mixer came. I'd love to have a smaller mixer since I don't need all these channels, 10-12 channels would be enough. And also since I'm running a LunaII the 1632 mixer uses about 40% of DSP.

Hi Oxy,

Have you tried totally switching off the hardware accelertation on your graphics card? That seems to be a workaround for my problems.

A little update.

I did some alterations!
I put my LunaII in PCI slot 2
Did a default BIOS setup with the following alterations:
Disabled Internal Sound
Disabled Com ports
Disabled LPT port
Disabled Midi port
Disabled USB 2.0 support, just using 1.1 now.

Now almost everything seem to work fine, except when using optimaster. This sucker seems to push the limit just a bit to far!

I'll try to mess with the project and see if I can get any difference.
