Hello, hope i'm not intruding.
Obviously the variables for a 'digital sync'
enviroment will differ from user to user, due to basic I/O differences in hardware
specs.

The answer is simple & should have come in the form of full device integration into SFP. This would indeed be a treat to patch & could potentially solve the sync issues altogether.

I will dream of this.

Best regards,
Bob

I bought a syncplate mainly for that, it works perfect, and at least in Italy I saw many of them used sold at really ridiculous low prices.

If you use it with sfp, you gain the two inputs to the global system, why bother with multiple drivers desires?

More complex digital studios containing lots of digital equipment require putting a little more thought into sync path-ways.

A good simple example would be a small setup of two or more hardware mixers, two or more scope 'systems', two or more NoahEX's & two or more 'Adat'or WC enabled external samplers, such as Akai & Emu.

With these basic ingredients, opinions & methods of sync will differ significantly, many will find however, that their preferable 'Master', would be their main system running
Sfp. Some people will need 'two or more' sync plates (minimum) to get a system sync.
