Ok, now you asked for it (without knowing it
Autumn 1993
I mett a girl, and fell in love with her. She went to Germany as an Au Pair. We talked/wrote about going interaling together - later we changed it to Midtfyns Festival. She found a German man, but it was because I had mett her, that I finally went to Midtfyns Festival.
June 1994
I meet another at the festival (she was the one who "made me a man"). She talked about a concert with 22 Pistepirkko. I went to the concert, and it was great!
April 7th 1995
I went to a 22 Pistepirkko concert. I was there 2 hours early. There was a note on the door - no more tickets awailable. Bummer!
When I stood there waiting at the door, and people with tickets started entering the que, I got to talk to someone, who mentioned another concert with the band in another town - 9/4. The concert was again great, so I decided also to go to that other concert.
April 9th 1995
I was again early at the concert. I mett the keyboard player, and he sold me 3CDs, a single and a T-Shirt. I payed him, what I thought was a fair price - 70€. After the concert, he sat at a table and sold CDs and merchandice. I saw, that people tried to cheat him - they wanted the stuff too cheap and told him lies about standard prices in Denmark. I told him, what standard prices where in Denmark, and how much he could actually take and still be confident that he sold cheap, if he wanted that.
At the table was another person. A Finnish girl. She was exchange student in Denmark. It was Saara. After the keyboard player packed up his stuff, I keeped on talking with her. It was special, and though I was a shy guy back then, I gave har my phone number and address - a thing I had never done before. When the place closed and she got picket up by her Danish "mother", we kissed a short kiss - just with our lips. This kiss has been a mystery ever since. We both strongly believe that the other took the initiative, and we where both a bit surpriced, that it happened.
We where a couple for little less than a month. I was her first boyfriend, and she was my first girlfriend. Then she broke up. It hurt a lot, but we still keeped on meeting about 3 times a week - though we lived in different towns.
Then 1½ month later, we where together again - for a last week, before she had to go back to Finland. It was beautifull. We knew, that we had so little time, and still we accepted the pain, because we where so much in love. Durring those days, she gave herself to me, and I was the first man to enter her.
But she was 17 and I was 19. Noone was ready to break up from our roots, so we knew this was the last goodbye in the airport. The sorrow was huge.
Summer 1996
She came back to Denmark on hollydays. She vissited her Danish "family", her friends and me. I had a new girlfriend then (it took 9 months before that happened), and she was single. It was very tough on my new relationship, that I was going to see Saara again.
Summer 1997
She came back to Denmark on hollydays. She vissited her Danish "family", her friends and me. She had a new boyfrind then, and I was single. 2 weeks after she returned to Finland, she broke up with him.
Summer 1998

Summer 1999
She had no plans to go to Denamrk this year. I could not go because of my job. So I thought, it was my turn to pay the ticket, and she came again. This time non of us had another relationship, and it was important to both of us to find out, if there still was something, when it was not "illegal". We had to find out, so we could either get on with our lives or make new moves towards getting together again. She decided, that she would take a year of study in Denmark again - starting from the next summer. See you then...
Winter 1999/2000
No way I could wait that long. I went to Finland and had 3½ weeks of Christmas/New Years hollyday. See you next summer...
April 2000

And so we did
She was here a year, went back to Finland for ½ a year to finnish har bachelor, came back to Denmark, and now she studies 100 away from me
How do you like that? I think it is ready for Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan
(or maybe someone younger). The only thing is, that we realy can not say precisely, for how long we have been a couple. Where we a couple, when we where apart. We definitely where, from 1999. We have sometimes had long times apart from eachother - still as a couple. Every time we have mett after having not seen eachother for months, we both feel, that we both have changed. But to our luck we have changed in ways, that did not break our relationsship - but actaully have strengthened it.
What we do know is, that we have known eachother for 1/3 of our lives - since April 9th 1995. I am so happy - she just send me a few emails, while I wrote this. Little things can mean a lot.
