Kind of puts the strength of DSP systems in a perspective - doesn't it?

I believe the ReverbX has algorithms which are different to the 4080L (the one which is available for Pulsar) although it incorporates some of the features which were originally only found in the Pulsar 4080L, such as the gate and EQ controls, for example.
I also found it to be a ridiculous resource hog.. and strangely enough I didn't like it's sound compared to the classic 4080L!

I am sorry - I messed up with the names. I have the 4080 reverb.

Hey,
Sorry to hear that you're having problems. This just another guess, but I'd try hitting Control-Alt-Delete when cubase starts to bog down--there may be some nefarious programs running in the background that you don't know about. There'll be a list of every program running. I'd say that you'd be especially at risk for this if you're hooked up to the internet via a cable modem...
Good Luck!

Indeed!

As I mentioned to you in a PM, I'm now waiting for CW to stick a couple of GB RAM on their cards so the PCI bus doesn't get flooded managing DSP-based reverbs!
