Bad idea to install a PCI SATA controller card?

1x30gig=primary master
cdrw=primary slave
2x60gig=secondary master and slave

2x120gig=over 200 4 minute songs.......

Hi,
never use cd and hard-disk on the same ide-bus!
that would slow down your hard-disk..

Hi,
2 Samsung SpinPoint 160 GB (8 MB cache) as primary master and slave.
LG DVD recorder as secodary master master..

(by the way, <b>dvd-ram</b> is realy fast :wink: )

hhmm, I would use the drives on primary- and the cdrw on secondary..

no,you have to change the jumpers on your devices....

no jumper=master drive.. i did that but some wired problem arise. can you tell me your jumper setting plz?

different for each drive...you must set jumpers on the cd drive as well....
