Ok, another bassman... Bass is such an special instrument... I agree with you about some of the players there, but I also like the ways of Jeff Berlin and John Pattituchi, they play in a balanced way both stiles, finger and slap. Cheers.

I really like this track - the synth lead reminds me of chip music which I love, Atari ST game music, rip-roaring!

I listened to it twice back to back, whereas usually I listen to the intro, skip to the middle and then to the end )

Hi Nestor. Is there an easy way to download a bunch more of your stuff? Do you have a website? I really like this song, and could do with some similar songs to put it along-side.

Also, the song fades in as if it were part of a greater whole. Is there a complete version somewhere?

Any links appreciated

Makes me think of ELP.

Where's that hit of acid I used to have in the freezer?

Maybe you have to be ancient like me to appreciate this stuff, but I really like it!

BTW, I think constructive criticism is great, but if anyone doesn't like someone's style of music, maybe they should just keep it to themselves. I'd like to see us encouraging each other, and offering tips on how to make things sound better. "Style" cannot be the subject of debate. I personally dislike most techno stuff, but I can still critique the engineering and appreciate it for what it is.

Very controverse discussion here. Personally I vote for beeing openminded for various styles and various levels of professionality. This here is harmonically on top! Mix, sounds, progression - all well chosen.
Yes it could be a keyboard demo (unless they are mostly not THAT good). We have a hole radio station playing such stuff.
I really like it and would be interested in more of your stuff although if bought on a cd I would get a little too much of a "note per buck" ratio thing. Relax a bit

By the way: Is it ok for you to archive your songs for personal use? The first that I bother to store. While I write this I listen to other songs of yours - and hey: that Frood knows where his towel is!

Nice tune.
Good mild contrast when the new sections come in.

So you call that "Acoustic Paradise 7", do you?

Finally listened to this track.

One thing that is consistent in Nestor's tracks is the dire need for more High's. That would definitely give some breath to the music because it sounds too scunched up as it stands.

Otherwise, Nestor is a friggin' genius!
