is that a new plugin or something?
for me personally the pro's of Scope are the routing and modularity of the scope environment, the fact that I don't need an external mixer and can just route my Nord Rack and guitar with no latency into the scope system (of course for the guitar using the nice amp emulation plugins available like Celmo's and Dynatube), the great quality of SC's synth emulations and of course the great community! :)

The con is that you need to invest a bit to get decent enough DSP power to do what you want but especially if you pick up a second hand card with a bunch of plugins already included it's a great deal and a great addition to native.

My projects always use a combination of Cubase and VSTi's and Scope synths, mixing and processing.

you may want to edit the $s in Sonic and Scope to make it more visually appealing, otherwise your point get's lost, somewhat ... ;) :D

cheers, Tom

You'll need to read up on each product, listen to audio-clips and music. figure out your direction and music-needs. Try to find a way to demo the products and ofcourse do what your doing and thats visit the forums and ask questions. Some of the strengths to the SCOPE Platform i like are below, there are more i'm sure but the below are what first come to mind.

1. Modular 3 and Flexor.
2. the highly flexible routing.
3. Physical modeling e.g. Six String and B2003 organ (these are the best i've heard).
4. Mixer's collection.
5. DAW's of choice and no software restrictions.
6. Large library of free and commercial plugin devices of great quality for expansion.
7. A more complete solution then most dsp platforms (synths, samplers, effects, mixers, etc) with sufficient dsp power for the platform to run it (currently 42, XITE-1 140 that we know and may expand further).
8. At better price then PTHD but still Top-notch sound.
9. John Bowen synths and Sonic Core emulations (Minimax, Prodysee, etc).

Many of the SCOPE instruments and effects are in another league to me than other solutions i've tried, and fit my music best. Just my prefered sound and workflow wich is what it boils down to, Just my prefered sound and workflow wich is what it boils down to, Just my prefered sound and workflow wich is what it boils down to.

I like scope system also for sound design or vintage synth emulation sound,
for hd recording the a16ultra give 16 in / out
I work with core quad 2.4 ghz at 2.9 ms without any problems
last thing is mixing througt scope mixer via multiple asio output driver
this way to mix seem better than cubase software mixing
I record througt software sequencer and record the final mixdown via
scope VDAT
