Gary, I don't feel myself so alien being on the opinion that believing in a unique nucleous of dark power is like looking for an incarnation of the evil or for a scapegot.
I'm convinced too about the existence of hidden, concrete, high spheres decision-making and having the high power to influence almost everything and everyone, but I'm also convinced that, there too, it isn't absolutely easy to make different interests to coincide...
...Although in a plenty of abundance and power environment, it's more easy to achieve agreements

but at least you would be really born in the US.
Many of these guys are not US citizens (Rhom Immanuel was/is Isreali intelligence), and therefore can be presumed to have agendas NOT friendly to the US or the world.

I hope it doesn't happen, but I'd be interested to know exactly how many people in the US would be behind/support Arnie as President. Can't believe we're actually talking about that TBH, but hey ho, if it's going to be, it's going to be. Arnie for President!!!

I would vote for Ron Reagan, the son of Ronald Reagan and radio host on Air America.

Does anyone here think that 'economic depressions', 'stock market crashes', 'credit crunches' etc have a similar 'ring' to them??? Does anyone believe that these unfortunate turns of fortune are incidental?

Doublethink according to G. Orwell in 1984:

“ The power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one's mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them....To tell deliberate lies while genuinely believing in them, to forget any fact that has become inconvenient, and then, when it becomes necessary again, to draw it back from oblivion for just so long as it is needed, to deny the existence of objective reality and all the while to take account of the reality which one denies — all this is indispensably necessary. Even in using the word doublethink it is necessary to exercise doublethink. For by using the word one admits that one is tampering with reality; by a fresh act of doublethink one erases this knowledge; and so on indefinitely, with the lie always one leap ahead of the truth.”

and

“ His mind slid away into the labyrinthine world of doublethink. To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully-constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which cancelled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them; to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it, to believe that democracy was impossible and that the Party was the guardian of democracy; to forget whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again: and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself. That was the ultimate subtlety: consciously to induce unconsciousness, and then, once again, to become unconscious of the act of hypnosis you had just performed. Even to understand the word 'doublethink' involved using doublethink."

I just learned a couple of things which he can start changing:

- Let every one vote, not just people without a record (!)
- Get rid of the god damn tax that makes me have to pay 30% tax on casino winnings in LA

I often hear from TV: 'Today in the stock exchange several billions has been burnt...'
Well, I believe money is never burnt. It just pass from a pocket to another

OMG !!

Now they tax your already taxed dollars you earned for winning? That's typiocal of the Soviet State of California. Do they offer a tax write off for when you lose then?........NOT.
Now I know why they flock to Nevada in droves.
That's exactly why nobody gets ahead in CA. As soon as you attempt to get close having success, the rich legislators make damn sure you are punished by their local & state tax Mafia to keep you down.
CA was the land of the Pioneers, now it's the land of the largest prisons in the modern world, and highest cost of living, taxes, etc.
No wonder Microsoft, Silicon Valley and half of the film industry has moved to Nevada, I didn't think it was just the babes and casinos.
I guess I shouldn't complain as CA migrates to Nevada on the weekend, they know where the action is.

Brotha' Man Piddi,
next time you come to the USA out west at least send me a pm so I can give you directions to where the action is.

Tax on winnings?.........the fact you beat their rigged unregulated gaming means you are lucky. When your win in Nevada nobody notices really because so many people win, and so many lose......ankyuvarymush. True capitalism, but punishing the winner is a typically Calfornia way of doing business. I bet it was a fake tax form and they just put it back in circulation. I think the insects over there have more rights.

It's about time Brotha' Man.
I gotcha' back and front covered.
I am in Tahoe through New Years, and 3 weeks off as we rehearse and review new contracts.
If you ski, Tahoe's the place.
If you like T-Shirts and sunshine, it's Vegas.
For gambling Vegas is the place, but one must go where the odds are. The local casinos are better for that, anyone who gambles on the Strip is a chump or doing a film and claiming to win which is a fraud.
I see these shows on satellite TV about guys coming to town and winning at the Strip............They are fake as no casino allows filming, cameras, etc. Even cell phones are frowned upon but they can listen in as their security is better than the FBI's headquarters. But the FBI couldn't find a hooker in a whore house anyway.

Heads Up Then.

stardust wrote:Hehe Reno and Vegas are not in CA. So tax is used better for wasting water in the desert.

Vegas maybe. Tahoe is a lake and Reno is near there and also near 2 or 3 other lakes. mostly the tax money is for lining the pockets of those in the know and controlling the population, just like everywhere else. on the other hand, there are still moments of public service, so some of that tax money benefits the residents, just like everywhere else. the main difference is that the economy is quite vigorous, as many throw their hard earned wages away on entertainment and the chance of a big strike because most pleasures are legal, if regulated, as long as nobody gets hurt....you know kinda like some places you go to roll around in the mud and get high and have meaningless sex and see shows and waste money and chance that something incredible might happen, except without the mud.... these places hire musicians and always have.

personally, i advise against that type of behavior, but i'll take their pay anyday.

Unfortunately when you worked for it it is burnt, even if some virtual transaction made someone else richer who never worked for it.
This is correct.
Just I'd like more media highlights about the winners of this (rigged?) lottery as well as I'd like to know in which state the most of this burnt money will be taxed.
I guess it's a complex matter, nevertheless I'd like to try to understand..

what's complicated about the powerful becoming more powerful and the commoners becoming more indebted for the priviledge of life?
