Just wanted to bump this one. Received my authorization code after a few days and have been playing with this ever since. Really a great sounding reverb, a must for the price. Thanks for the chorus/delay bonus too, looking foward to using it. Have any audio demos etc of it? Also, have you ever considered making a 224xl or 480l reverb?

Unfortunately I dont have any audio demos of the ChorusDelay device, but it will be released very soon. Im almost finished with the updated graphic.

That chorus/delay looks great! Can't wait to try it. I'm not really sure what the emt250 sounds like, although I'm sure I've heard it on recordings. An AMS RMX-16 would be pretty cool though, or even an old AMS delay emulation would be useful, and neither of these have really been simulated for native plugins or consumer DSP cards. I'm curious about the character of the 250 though, I have tried impulse responses of it although these are always too static and thin sounding. Are there any recordings you know off-hand which make classic use of the 250, or even the AMS gear? (I hope this isn't getting too far offtopic!

@R0zzer - There will be a lite (both DSP and PCI) version of the reverb.

Wonderful. I just tried it, and the Lite version seems very useable on 6 dsp....

now I have no excuse not to buy

I think nobody has an excuse not to buy this great device! Help support an awesome developer so the Scope platform continues to thrive. Damn I can hardly wait to try the chorus/delay!! And of course to purchase the A100 and Random Hall. BTW, I have been working on some cool presets for the P100 focusing on kind of special-fx verbs with many echos or wash type settings with much movement from the ENV mod sources, I will upload these to planetz soon. Anybody else making presets for this?

Do any one need a manual for the p100? It will take around 2 weeks for one or should I use the time for finishing the chorusdelay thing?

What about new features? Like x-over feedback for the delay lines instead of phase shifting - so positive values was normal feedback and negative values are x-over feedback? Or something else?

I vote finish the chorus/delay! Despite the number of parameters on the P100 I find it pretty straightfoward looking at the routing diagrams and just tweaking options. I don't know what else could be added to this device, x-delay may be cool, or hey how about a built in lush female vocal simulator? Anyway, I hope you are not discouraged by too few customers so far, I think with some better publicity sales will increase. Plese keep developing! I really would love to try the random hall algorithm, I have been wanting that kind of lush spacious verb sound forever. If your original idea of purchase two, get one 50% off is still alive, P100+A100+H100 for $249 would be such a steal! Also I made a few more presets specifically for guitar, should have a nice little bank ready in a few more days.

Chorus/Delay please. Most people should be able to figure the P100 out. You could always just do a short post explaining the most complicated parts.

Same here.

Warp, have you really only sold 46 ?.....there are obviously a lot of Pulsarians who don't know what they're missing.
Any news on the Ambience algo ?

Thats correct, Plato. I have only sold 46 p100's - you can probably understand my dissapointment.

As you see, there's no point in releasing alot of high-end plugins for the platform.

Im still on vacation, so it will take some time. I'll release the chorusdelay first and then Ambience. After that, not sure.

You mentioned in May that CW was willing to put the verb on the front page, something has moved since ?

Anyway, I noticed on the Adern forum that the number of registered users of the awesome Flexor is ( very ) painfully reaching 200, roughly matching the numbers of the best downloads of modular patches here.

And Adern is on the CW page and shop soo ... more confused.

So I really don't understand : CW is boasting 30 000 users, we have only 2 000 here !

The rest are living in log cabins deep into forests ?

People that buy a pulsar then can't afford to purchase cheap but quality plugs ?

I hope your business will become more viable in the long run otherwise it's very discouraging.

Try to keep the faith though ... you're making unique devices !

Well, I guess website advertising alone just isn't good enough. You'd need some print advertising in major magazines but I'd think that's really expensive...

Hey Warp... I think I speak for all here where I say, there are plenty of us here who are competent writers who would be willing to donate some time to do some of the dirty work of writing the manual for you, or at least compile information and ideas to be edited into a manual. If this is of any interest, I will be your first volunteer.

That way, you can spent more time on your designs, and still get the manual(s) going. More people who can work wonders with the demo will be inclined to buy.

Also, emagic did something brilliant, and I'm not sure why more developers aren't doing it here... give 2 month full-feature demos on your plugs. Encourage people to get them in their projects. That way, when the 2 months are up, they won't be able to un-bypass their reverb (and as such alter their project as they had built it) until they purchase a license. Just about all my Logic using MAC friends, have 70% of the emagic plugs because they had a lot of time to play with them uninterrupted, and then one day, boom, time's up, but there are unfinished projects which need working on.

Any musician itching to get home from work and tinker with that one track will pull out the card and eat bologna for a week just to keep working. It would also help keep a glut of usable Demos which will eventually become obsolete by updated demos and completed products from potentially harming your sales.

That way, you won't have any potential customers just using a rough draft demo forever after instead of buying the full product.

It sounds like a cheap trick, but it's really allowing potential customers to determine the true value of a plug while protecting your work. You're actually in a unique position in that CW's copy-protection is fairly airtight.

I think you'd be shocked (or maybe not) by how few copies are actually sold by the big distribution houses. Just take a peek on Overnet or your favorite torrent search engine. See if you can count on one hand how many plugs worth having aren't available to be stolen. I bet you can't. Now there are dozens of multi-DVD plugs and sample sets which can be torrented or otherwise DLed in a matter of days or even hours.

BTW, I am a proud paying owner of the P100 and will probably buy the A100 when it is ready. My drum tracks gain an incredible BOOM with the P100. Keep up the good work and remember that the entire economy sucks and no one is making a lot of money; hence all these staples of the industry either going entirely tits up or being bought by larger companies.

Last thing... Sound on Sound has a writer who loves CW stuff. You might consider sending him a "promotional copy" and see if he bites. There are a lot of people who love and trust SOS, and for good reason. Getting positive feedback from official press will most certainly help sales for both you and the platform at large.
