Robot wars are big money for inventors and patent holders, and also the Pentagon is cutting the military back in conventional areas while building advanced Drone/Robotics forward bases in Niger.

Me, I am much easier to please as a Scope warrior.
I shall kill my enemies with superior audio and precision control like this.

I live in the largest militaristic state in the Union. The Federal Government owns 90% of the land here and it's Solar Arrays are the largest in the world, and still can barely power my band on a bender, but Bombing ranges, Nuclear test facilites, Strategic Oil reserves, Drone Central at Creech AFB, just here in Vegas ther are 3 major Air Force bases plus Area 51.

So I get to see George Knapp (reporter who forced Uncle Sam to come clean) every week interview people who are flying robots and drones over our heads everyday and night.
We are ground zero and actually due to the huge success of the programs, used our metropolitan are to show Team Obama of it's effectiveness on domestic surveillance, which natutally Big Liberal Control Freaks jumped on like a pole dancer on a 100 dollar bill.

I also play the Drone Convention and I am seeing the semi public stuff, so I can only imagine what the top secret stuff is like.
Last year there were plate sized Osprey style robots flying strait then flipping into a 90 degree angles and slipping through pre built slots that a mans arm can fit through.
So anyone who thinks these drones and robots are no biggie are in for a big surprise.

Japanese and German developers have built our underwater Mine detection drones for years now. The Stright of Hormuz has hundreds of these robots in place that cannot be seen by radar, only the person controlling their missions.

I guess we should feel safe, but I am semi paranoid about this as everytime I take a shit I think a drone with Thermal Capabilites is filming me from 300 feet above my crib...

A secret project has been going on for about 12 years already, as far as I know, on biomechanical clothing for Special Forces. This outfit connects to the skin of the soldier and has the capability to interact with the microvolt coming from the brain, and the outfit is then controlled by the nervous system. The suite can read the electromagnetic connections coming from the brain and interpret it as movement. The soldier in this way can move much faster, upload much heavier loads, without getting too tired. The biomechanical outfit has also the capability to virtually disappear in front of you, unless you get too close, but from about 4 meters and on, it is indistinguishable.

Look at this video, and you will have a thought or two about how far the military science can go today:

Goodness gracious- I just checked back to see what happened here over the weekend, and was stunned to see all the bickering/nonsense that followed my post.
I can't be bothered reading all of it, but I think it's time to end this thread.

Nestor, even though this is the off-topic area and I generally let anything go here, I'll ask you to please find another non-planetz venue to discuss this stuff.

Hi John

No problem, I’ll close it immediately as you asked me to do :)

I guess that everything needed to be said by all participants have already been said anyway.

I am closing it satisfied of the results for all the things learned.
