this is the best news ever

i can now add my python c++ scripts and use my wavetable osc with scope hardware cant wait till it comes out

this is a turning point for scope

I'm so excited for S|C! This to me is like the Arduino platform concept but with some serious DSP power!!! Bring it on!

... and now let's hope that they do a high level marketing campaign! :)
and maybe in the future introduce a low-cost PCIx DSP board with a power comparable to the scope pro! ;)

Regarding Parseq:

"It is developed with cross platform compatibility in mind, so it will run on Win7, OSX and Unix systems."

Does this mean we can excpect OSX and Linux drivers?

Got myself the highend eq bundle, "master it eq and the das c350 channel strip".
What a bargain, and what a nice way to anounce the future of the platform.

This new stuff they have anounced seems really good.

ok, i would like to buy something but i do not know what and the budget is limited!

i thought about the DAS-2A but i already have vinco and i suppose that is similar.

what about the DAS BRICKMASTER PRO?
i already have optimaster and vinco and i do not use M-S
can this be a valuable addition for mastering and production?

on which material are you supposed to use this? just mixed tracks before mastering (maybe after optimaster) or also on single track/buses?

+1

I guess there could be an answer to this in the preliminary Scope 6 download package. According to the automatic e-mail response from Sonic Core, they will send a download link when the software package is ready

ok, let's spread the word about these great news and help to grow the new seed! You know we're part of the entire! :)

I did some postings about the discounts:

I'll post about Open Scope later this day at the PreSonus forum.

Use it at the end of a mastering chain.

I bagged my self the das high end eq bundle. (master it eq and the channel strip)
1. i don't have a specialised channel strip yet for recording vocals and line in instruments.
2. i'd like to have some m/s control when mastering.

Sounddesigner wrote:Yes there are still some 'active' Third-Party developers for SCOPE and i'm sure many of the 'inactive' will be activated soon as various issues they have are solved (Are'nt you one of them?}.
Well, Im not sure it ever happens. I have asked for some functionality in the SDK for over 4 years now without success. And 99% of all developers want to code their algorithms in C/C++/asm - the SDK from UA could have been the best thing ever happened to the Scope platform. Just imagine all those developers that ports their algorithms to the Sharc DSP - XITE use the exact same DSPs, but it won't happen simply because we can't convince the management of S|C to open up the SDK.
Sounddesigner wrote:S|C being a little unresponsive does'nt warrant abandonment and intentional harm. I don't have all the facts...........
That's an... ehm... understatement. You have no idea how far some developers have gone to help S|C, but...................

If you believe the future for Scope is depended on 3rd party support then we would need dramatic changes.

please let this run on linux, I am so ready to get off of windows , it would be nice to develop a Scope only distrubution. As a matter of fact I am going to inquire about this right now.

i also sent it to the synth edit forum as there are many coders that make modules using c/c++ and have very extensive nowledge of usimg sdk enviroments

why oh why do they always do these things at the first month after the holidays

its a shame they did not do the same type of system as the das plugs where each one was with 70% off

the zarg bundle is nice but if you own some already

same as the sc ghost and spacef

looks like ill be buying some das stuff then
