Hello!

Did anyone try the following combination on the same PC: Scope cards and Symbolic Sound Kyma? Do they go together? Any problems or tuning tricks?

Please, any information.. Even from another's words.

I wish I had a Kyma System to test it out  But im short on the 3-5k for the hardware and what ever they charge for the software hehe.

BT uses a Scope card somewhere in his studio I have heard, maybe he reads these forums and could tell us how it runs

Cheers!

I know a guy who used to work with a Kyma & SCOPE. They were in different machines. As far as I know, Kyma needs it's own machine but you never know...

Yes it works, I have tried it. If you are streaming from the PC to the Capybara in your Kyma algorithm, then depending on your capy interface and chipset on MB, you could have your PCI bandwidth reduced. However, with Kima-X software under XP/2k, you will use the firewire interface which shouldn't cause any problems to PCI bandwidth. If you use the PCI card interface, than you will eat PCI BW.
