EXS24 vs EXSP24

I know the limitations of the EXSP24 I own and would like to know if it's worth to upgrade to the EXS24 sampler? Is it stabile? Does it read GIGA programs properly? Or I'd better look at Kompakt (I know it's only a player but it reads many formats and it reads samples from a HD) which would be at the same price range for me???? I know I could ask the question at an Emagic forum but I trust you more

I use the EXS24 to excess, which is more than an endorsement on its stability, I think. I always have around 10 of them running in a project(40+ in orchestral projects). Mind you, I don't use all the functions in it, like side-chaining but that does not matter.
As far as Giga files are concerned, there seems to be a bug in translating them to .exs. Velocity layers don't get translated properly in my experience, so I use CDXtract to do that and all is fine.
