pulsar2 update with XTC software? (by Eber Dimarti)
Subject: B)
it´s no upgrade for pulsar users.
xtc will be a function of the next software version of pulsar, and as always, that update will be free, of course.
in that version, you can switch between the xtc mode and the normal pulsar mode that you already know.
well, for people who don´t have a pulsar (poor them there will be an srb board with just the xtc part of the pulsar software. that will cost about 1000 € or so... but we´ll get xtc for free nice creamware, nice...
apart from xtc integration, i don´t know which bugs will be solved in that new version. maybe the slow controlling of the modular? maybe the inaccurate vu´s? we´ll see...
(it only can get better... har har har... just joking

p.s. your main question was, which benefits do you gain, as you are no vst user.
well, i´m using cakewalk, which also lacks vst, but at the moment i´m playing around with some demoware from steinberg, just to get into it...
maybe the 300 € for cubase vst are not the worst investition.
