hi Folks,
just looking at this Roland Virtual synth offering for $99 USD. "ZENOLOGY PRO".
Looks like a pretty nice virtual synth package.
I'm running Pulsar I & II cards connected to an old Korg Trinity keyboard on Windows Pro 10. Is this virtual synth something I could hook up to my current Scope 7 system? I'm using Reaper as sequencer, so I guess Reaper could record direct from the Zenology synth, and then I could just mix and master thru Scope 7?
Has anyone else made this work?
Thanks for any feedback!
Gary
ZENOLOGY PRO - compatible with Scope/Pulsar?
Re: ZENOLOGY PRO - compatible with Scope/Pulsar?
There's the suite of sound tools (there's a plugin set just for FX that is free that is a subset of it, similar to how Korg Complete has the Trinity FX stuff in their pack) and then some VI content you can load into the Zenology Pro interface itself. Both are native plugins (VST/CLAP/AU etc), and so will rely on native host software connected to Scope via ASIO (or WAV etc) to function. Reaper would be fine.
Some of the Roland software works in standalone mode, but I never use it that way. If nothing else, I host modern software in Bidule for Scope use.
