Hola all, a couple of things.

Our legacy bundle with all our old VST plugins, applications and other goodies is going to be available soon to the public, here is an early access download link. Enterprise, Polyphenom, Aeolian Meditation / Dream Box, Defiant WT, Wavetabler, Xbox MIDI Control and lots more! The VST plugins were all updated with VST3 support, and all DLC preset packs are included! Everything in this bundle is provided as is with no guarantees and support is not provided. Note that all legacy Ocean Swift VST plugins and standalone applications are Windows only.

Here it is:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PKU3FS ... sp=sharing

We ran some promotions in our newsletter and there is a discount code that gives 25% off of Porphyra, available here https://oceanswift.net/product/porphyra/ , on top on the intro offer (so a double discount), this one is limited in uses but there are still a bunch, the code to use at checkout is simply: BACK

We are waiting on more cool reviews to come in, but here is a fun one by The Samplist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIWBCv1Yd-c

Cheers!

holger will certainly be pleased.
I think this on-top advertising as motivation for Scope 8~x is rather insensitive...

wish you great sales success

This comment really annoys me I have to say. You would not know this, but since 2019 Fernando and I have told Holger to keep any sales income from Ocean Swift plugins on the Scope platform for himself, and not asked for a cent since then. We have been helping keep this thing alive for years on end, you can be a little less cynical, thanks.

Spielraum is welcome to express his views, but I have already mentioned that support of this platform and my support of your efforts. Our platform and this community are too small to care about such small matters, and I know you need to start this income stream you were given my permission. There isn't anyone here that can decide otherwise.

I also would LOVE to find a way to help Holger with the concerns he has for Scope 8 so we have what we need on this platform as well, but aside from you mentioning him keeping your sales there's not much else relevant to that in this thread. I wish you success.

Bud Weiser wrote: Sun Sep 29, 2024 2:10 am Welcome back Faxi,- but ´cause it´s in the announcements here, I´d wish there would be something new available for Scope and not for NI Kontakt.

I´m done w/ NI anyway since they don´t provide a solution re-installing, re-activating and re-locating what I already bought over decades for a lot of money on my Win7 x64 DAW machine where it´s all installed.
I praise p. ex. IK Multimedia and Cherry Audio for their registration, activation and download applications running on Win 7 ´till 11 !!!
I also praise Cockos Reaper for running on Win XP - Win 11, Linux & MacOS and S|C Scope running on Win XP - Win11 too.
So,- I don´t understand why NI Native Access cannot.

Greetz and big thanks to Matt@NI who banned me from NI Community when I was pi##ed ´cause of Native Access 2 issues ruined my Win 10 laptop and not only destroyed all the NI setup incl. lots of NI FX presets, Kontakt presets etc., but also wiped the entire VST3 folder incl. all the other non-NI plugins and everything related to KSD presets.
So, I´ll stay away from any new NI products now.

Bud
Hi Bud,

I found an issue with Native Access is that some third party have thier own installer - for example Impact Soundworks has ‘Pulse’ and I found using that fixed issue I had with Shreddage under Native Access - so check for your particular 3rd party if they have thier own installer.

Well, even being "off topic" ...

I know this, but I myself, I want to have the possibility to re-install, re-activate and re-locate the NI Komplete 12 Ultimate Collectors Edition´s constituend parts on my Win 7 main DAW when I NOW replace the 1TB M.2 SSD, where all WAS originally installed, w/ a 2TB SSD and want to move files, CURRENTLY being spread across several smaller drives, back to the now larger SSD (w/ same drive letter).

I also want to replace accidently and automatic updated Kontakt libraies and plugins by older and Win7 compatible installers.
These installers are offered for download by NI (see links in Community) but would have to be re-activated by using the Win7 compatible Native Access 1 again.

But this is impossible unless I understand how to make the workaround from VI-Control forums working.
See the 4 pages of that thread ... https://vi-control.net/community/thread ... st-5620315 ...
Unfortunately I don´t because it´s way too much compute science to me and way too time consuming learning all in my age.
I understand all is a more of less for computer experts "simple" certificates issue.
Have in mind, Native Instruments announced NI Access 1 will be discontinued february 25, 2025 !
Do we have the year 2025 now ?
No !
So, why doesn´t NI Access 1 work on my/a Win7 machine anymore and until feb. 25, 2025 ?

My Win 7 x64 DAW works and there´s no urgent reason building a new (and expensive) machine w/ latest Windows for me,- and what doesn´t run on Win 7 is or can be used on my Win10 x64 laptop where now is NI Kontakt 8 player is installed.
But,- not every of my 3rd party libraries,- especially not "Purgatory Creek - Tine-, Reed-, Clavinet- and Classic- Collections,- run in the Kontakt Player versions and need the full version of Kontakt 5.8x at least.
Kontakt 6 runs on my Win7 machine,- so what ?
But that´s just only ONE example.

IMO, when a user bought licence(s) for a Win7 compatible (flagship-) product from whatever company/manufacturer,- there should be a solution to re-activate on a Win 7 machine in case computer components have to be replaced, may that be drives, processor or the mainboard,- period.
Otherwise it´s fraud,- but that´s obviously only my opinion.
Native Instruments sucks,- at least since they were bought by Francisco Partners investors.
It´s a case for global class action IMO, but most users are too stupid and unfortunately accept everything sooner or later.

:)

I’ve moved my NI content fine, I think it just sees it missing and asks to relocate.

In any case ours is installed by Native Acces so none of those shananigans, drop the serial in, click on install, done.

I don't understand companies that don't go for this, the whole point is to make the user's life simple not to torment them.

This NOW works again w/ NI Native Access 2 latest version and on Win10 and Win11 machines.
But it´s also still buggy and slow w/ "loading products".
Kontakt 7 and 8 also launch slow vs. Kontakt 5 and 6.

It´s all about the bells and whistles s##t being embedded in these new versions,- the shop and advertisement main pages and all the hi res graphics for.
It´s unneccessary crap which doesn´t make any music sounding better,- just only cosmetics and marketing stuff.
But nothing against it really,- except other companies allow ignoring the shop etc. in preferences by a user selectable start page.
NI doesn´t.

It doesn´t work on a Win 7 x64 Pro SP1 machine because NI Native Access 2 doesn´t support and NI Access 1 doesn´t run anymore although NI said it will run until february 2025.
NI NA1 is unable to connect to NI´s servers and when launched, it´s a more or less blank window w/ a "update failure" warning.
No login possible.

They already did the same w/ Service Center w/ the same result for me,- lot´s of software, in theory still running on my older but also still powerful 32Bit WinXP DAW, is lost because of a unknown issue, possibly user error, while trying to install the CW Noah drivers and I didn´t remember disabling driver signing,- and suddenly it wiped the most from programs folder by whatever reason.
No re-install of NI software possible.

It´s a cheek ignoring all users being on Win7 machines still,- often by good reasons.
My main DAW machine is a very good and stable computer, but I cannot upgrade to Win11 by hardware and TPM reasons.
I don´t have the funds as also not the time for upgrading everything and install all new, just only to follow NI´s Native Access upgrade plans.
I´m also unable to invest into NI Komplete Collectors Edition 15 upgrade a.t.m..
I´m on version 12 still which is overkill already.

It worked already great w/ Native Access 1 !
I liked it when I installed my Collectors Edition on my Win 7 machine.

But,- what happened w/ the launch of NI Native Access 2 beginning this year and is also not completely fixed until now is really insane.
So many users got lots of problems w/ NI NA 2 on Win10, Win 11 and Mac machines.
The community was full of complaints and I´m pretty sure NI lost many customers meanwhile.
The newsletter advertisement was never so agressive as it is today.

I´ll stop here ´cause it has nothing to do w/ your Ocean Swift product.

OTOH, you´re also working for NI and cannot ignore usage of NI Access 2 w/ "just dropping in a serial" is easy only as long as it works flawlessly,- and it doesn´t always.
On my Win10 laptop which is running well w/ any other software, NI Access 2 still loads installed products slow and sometimes comes up w/ the "installing dependencies" message for too long and even it has full administrator rights etc..
It´s a buggy software, period.

:)

Since Pathfinder was mentioned in this thread, just wanted to spam that we decided to yes make it available, but only the Kontakt Full version (works with Kontakt 6 and above) and only at Loot Audio and not on our website. Also, it is at the funny price of 10 bucks. Here:

One last thing from the past before we move on to more new stuff in new directions, we bundled all our previous wavetable packs into one pack, made the whole thing 20e and put it on 10e for intro. If you got those packs back then you have all these, if not, this is a pretty over-the-top wavetables stash!
