Maybe a DNS issue. What do you get when you execute nslookup dnamusic.nl on the command line (cmd.exe)?
It should return the IP address 91.217.57.78 if all works fine.

You can also test if you can reach the server by using that IP address in your browser: http://91.217.57.78/dNa.Scope/
It should return a Not Found error from the Apache server (since it needs the domain name to properly fulfill the request).

If you get a proper answer from the DNS server and can reach the dNa server via IP address, then you could also check if there is an entry for dnamusic.nl in the hosts file, which should be located in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc if it exists. View (and edit) it with a plain text editor like Notepad.

Website works for me. You can use DNS-server like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 to override your provider's dns.

Well,- I´m on Win10 22H Pro x64, latest build and it´s the only site showing this issue here.
I´m absolutely not good w/ these server things and when I insert " http://91.217.57.78/dNa.Scope/ " into Firefox and press ENTER, I get a black page.

When I do the command line thing,- I get nothing except an extremely fast closing windoq once I clicked "o.k." or pressed ENTER.

:-?

Hmm, the command line window should actually stay on screen. I don't have a Windows machine to try it on at the moment, but the following steps should work:
1. Press the keys [Windows] + [R], enter "cmd" and press [Enter] to open the command line window.
2. Enter "nslookup dnamusic.nl" and press [Enter] in the command line window. It should display the result and the window should stay open. What's the output?

You could also run the following commands in the command line window:
curl -I http://dnamusic.nl/dNa.Scope/
or
curl -I http://91.217.57.78/dNa.Scope/
and post the output here.

thx sunmachine,- I get a entire black command line window w/ blinking curser as the result.

I´m now typing on my Win10 Pro x64 laptop and it´s the same behaviour I recognized on my office desktop machine,- Firefox and Opera.

I´m pretty sure it´s the "http" vs "https" problem,- some security stuff.

Seems, current browsers won´t open "http" websites anymore.

Using dNa link from google or duckduckgo doesn´t work either.

So did you get the IP address when executing nslookup dnamusic.nl?

Does http://www.cwmodular.org/ work, which is also http only?

NO, unfortunately I get a rapidly disappearing black command line window where I´m unable to read the text.
There´s some,- but once I typed "nslookup ..." and pressed ENTER, it comes up and is gone again in a fraction of a second.

Yes,- it launches lightning fast !
Everything works here, except the dNa link. :-?

A.t.m. I´m trying to get the dNa-link working on my Win11 Pro x64 laptop and it doesn´t work also.
In addition to the timeout error, there´s a german message "nicht sicher" (means: precarious/unsafe connection/site).
Now it happens in Firefox, Opera and Avast Secure Browser too.

I´d say, dNa urgently needs a "https://" header website.

:)

Is the HTTPS-Only mode in Firefox enabled? Maybe you can turn it off (for dnamusic.nl)?

Thx for reply !
No,- HTTPS-Only mode isn´t enabled !

And, it also doesn´t work in all the other browsers I use and that rules for 3 computers now, Win10 and Win 11.
Strange behaviour IMO.
