Loren,
Very impressive and useful. I think we all appreciate the tremendous amount of work you put into this. Thanks for bringing some order to the disorganized chaos of my Scope folder.

Done.

I'm wondering if it would be prudent to move these threads to the Modular Files section (leaving a shadow topic here of course)...

Thank you for this gift!

I will test the patches on my system that now consists of 3x Pulsar 2. I started out on a Luna 2 in 2002. I am very impressed by how Scope still adds some unique sonic qualities to my Ableton live setup.

This is awesome!!! Plain madness. Bass devices are out of this world. I have yet to see something equally coming from VST plugin (and I have VAZ Modular, and Bazille which hare great but not of this quality to me anyway)

One question. Some of the modular devices asks me for a preset file called: Modular.pre

I don't have such preset file in my Xite folder nor do I see it in your archives. It is non existent at this point. Where could I download it or this isn't needed at all?

Welcome abord Masterec,
The Scope System is a Unique Platform it outperform any VST and also VA Hardware in Sonic Quality and bring Insane flexibility to your music creativity !!!!
The Modular 1 & 2 & 3 was a concept faraway from any technology and is unbeatable even today!!! it sounds fat, beautiful, real without the extra need of "reverb effect" ..
It is simple create a modular.pre if some are missing and that is all .. or use it as it is, as a real VA hardware tweak in live.
Most of them have banks of presets according to the Modular Synth :)

BTW - This is olny a startup point to show the power of Scope Modular, I advise you to buy Flexor III - It is a wonderful modular expansion to any of the Scope Modular 2,3,4 .. Enjoy and create great Music !!!

Modular 4 is the Future .. you have so much option to choose - go fo it !!!!

Enjoy your journey to Modular Scope Platform - the most versatile and powerful synth in the World thanks to SIC Team !!
Also you will get a great support from the Scope Community - they are wonderful persons and friends :)
Wish you my Best,

Loren

Modular.pre means it cannot locate the presets, so sounds will only be what you can dial in. Or alternatively, it also asks you to save a (new, or over the previous) preset every time you remove the modular shell or close a project containing it, so that you don't lose the unique changes you may have made. If you haven't made any changes you don't need to save a new version.

I usually restrict saving my changes to cabling changes that wouldn't be immediately apparent (if I explore for a while), and do the parameter/knob changes within the project itself. This will still require saving the preset to preserve assignments, but it's also again generally best to use a single object (or object type, like VAL monitor) to drive all of your input control data so you have only 1 place that it's flowing into your project (per-knob or per-control will get confusing in a modular layout as often as not, and I may want to drive that param to multiple destinations, etc).
