Best free image/partition tools to backup working scope installations

Post by petal »

I'm looking for the best free image/partition tools to backup working scope installation.

I'm running dual boot Windows installations 10 on the same SSD, but I only want to image/backup the partition dedicated to music and Scope, so that I can always get back to a point where I had everything freshly installed, and working as I want it.

I have been looking for free tools, but so far no luck. Maybe I'm just blind or can't figure out the tools that are available, so I need help.

Please hit me with your weapon of choise :)

I´m using several freeware.

Because I have at least 1 Western Digital HDD in every of my machines, I can use Acronis True Image WD Edition even there are Samsung, Patriot and Crucial SSD in the ballpark.

Macrium Reflect free is on my machines too as well as Paragon Backup & Recovery 17.

My patitioning tool is Minitool Partition Wizzard.

macrium reflect here on Win10
carboncopycloner and superduper on mac

having a spare HD installed in a desktop that gets imaged every week or so is great, and with laptops it goes to the external raid

Easybcd and Acronis. Not free - but great value for money.
See ‘Dual Boot Options’ here:
