This device is awesome ! For live impro, it should be great !

I 'd like to know :
if I want to stop recording the loop, how do I do ? Do i turn down the input level or is there another way ? And to erase the loop for recording another one ? If it was possible to do it via midi notes, it would be very convenient ! :D ... Thanks ....

It's a bit weird because I ask this at BCmodular forum :
http://www.bcmodular.co.uk/forum/viewto ... f=11&t=214

and it seems that Fooxer is close to the concept !

Of course, the device (or modular module) I wish in the BC forum thread must be hard to make but it would be really tremendous to have such a device in Scope. Fooxer is a good step in that direction with the seq feature ! I can gate the loops ! It's brilliant !
I think a use with FXkeys should be a good idea too !

Thanks a lot, Roy ! It is an original and very creative device.

I have put it in the delay folder ... (I'm not sure it's the right place ... :D )

JoPo, please take a look here :).
After downloading the modules I provided, you can use the LoopDelay4 and ClkDivider modules and get your own Looping device!
For reverse sound you could use a second channel with (already processed) reverse signal, and crossfade it with the original.
For speeding up & down you could try Flexor ReGroover.
if I want to stop recording the loop, how do I do ?
Looping starts as soon as you move the loop fader - fully engaged you'll get just the loop, in between you'll get lots of feedback, be careful.
The loop is erased when you push the fader all way back to the right.

Woah ! Génial !

The loopdelay4 seems to have a huge potential !

You give us the Fooxer in modular version, indeed ! It's perfect for trying to modify it in the way one wants ..!
Amazing ! I don't know how to thank you !
I think I'm going to try to use all this with some voices. I like to tweak voices in all ways, direction, side, etc. Maybe put some pitch shift in the loopdelay4 feedback path (hehehe !) ; apparently, it is possible to add device (in the feedback path) since I see the hp & lp filters outside of it on the BC forum screenshot... In the modular version, of course. Isn't it ?

It is absolutely tremendous ! Nice learning and then playing time in prospects...
:)

I must try all this tomorrow !

Thanks a lot lot lot, Roy !

With the M4L work being done with Modular recently, I am seriously considering on getting a DAW to take advantage of such gifts.
Should I just break down and get Abletons Barely Live....?

Depends on what you're after.
For me Live was a relief. Being a former Cubase user since the Atari days I was quite pi'**ed off after Pinnacle and then Yamaha took over. Their policy: forget bugfixes, just throw a new (payable) version on the market (buggy one again). So after Sx3.1 I went to Live.
Live is cool especially if you want to use audio loops but IMHO lacks a bit in the Midi realm.
On the other side, with Max4Live and Will & Simon's ScopeSync thingy you have an almost optimal DAW-Scope connection. Unfortunately, I'm the only patcher atm
