thats what i have done a long time: fighting against crackeling without posting.
But i dont want to sell my pulsars. It should be my connection to the Hardwareworld.
with ADAT for recording from: Spectralis VIrusTI Xbase Blofeld Micron and FX.
Also it should be my very flexible FX rack for the Hardware and Software.
And of course i like the s|c Synthies.
So im very frustrated. With more then 6-4 ms it is not really fun to work with the
external Hardware. And with less than 10-12 ms i have crackelings.
I dunno what to do ... especialy because for me there is nothing what seems to
cause the problem now. Or im just stupid

On the "Old" PC i bought 2 month ago with Intel i had the same, but VGA was sharing a interupt with one board.
The only things i have used form the other PC Is the SSD and the Pulsarcards.
Are there any problems with SSDs ? But i have seen in the Sysinternal tools that there was no I/O at the harddisk as it was crackeling.
What is really mad in my eyes is that the Ableton Latency CPU test .. works without any
problem. 80% CPU @ 3ms and no crackels. I can do what i want .. Minimizing Maximizing scrolling moving .. nothing crackels
But playing a track even with 10% CPU @6ms i got crackels if i click somewhere or scroll in a window, or minimizing and maximizing windows.
It is happens with ADAT .. SPDIF and even with Analog out.

As you can hear it is even in the digital part because i have recorded the short sample directly from asio to Wave dest.
what could cuase this? Could this be a hardware fault ? Maybe some capacitors on the Scope board are sick.. but .. why not with emulated 80% CPU load ? And why it is in the Digital routing of the Pulsar ? So i dont think its a broken board.
Are there any ableton users here ?
